Nanking — Restaurant in Helsinki sub-region

I have a hard time understanding the good reviews this restaurant gets. This was single-handedly not only the worst "Chinese" food I've had in years, it was also the worst food of any kind.

I thought this sort of low quality Chinese restaurants were the thing of the past and was glad to order Sichuan food in a while. Unfortunately the food had neither taste (excluding some strange mildly unpeasant side taste in one of the dishes) nor anything to do with Sichuan cuisine.

The waitress was super lovely, the ambience was authentic and nice, but sadly the food was really, really bland (I feel it's important to stress here, that it was not nasty or unpleasant, just lacking in flavour). Don't like to say anything negative given how lovely the waitress was, but it's the truth unfortunately. And five minutes after leaving the restaurant, I got a very funny taste in my mouth.
