Kotipizza Helsinki Kamppi Lönnrotinkatu — Restaurant in Helsinki sub-region

Came to Helsinki on a Monday after 2100 during COVID-19, which meant that almost every restaurant was closed. After a long walk I ended up here. The guy working the evening shift was high as a kite, and didn’t really wanna speak any English. As the menu was only in Finnish this really wasn’t the best of circumstances. I ended up going with a something something barbecue pizza. The guy said my order back to me, yet still managed to make the wrong pizza. The pizza was served in a to-go box and with plastic cutlery. As this is a fast food place I don’t really mind, but when the guy starting putting up tables on the table I sat half an hour before closing, I stopped feeling welcome.

The only reason this isn’t a one-star review is because the dough was really good. If someone else had made the pizza and made it properly, this would probably be really great, but...

Oh dear! Where to begin. The guy shouldn’t be running a franchise. Having just performed in front of 500 lovely Finish people, we arrived back at hotel next door, 4am, hungry, we fancied a Vegan pizza, big mistake. Never had someone be so rude whilst doing something as simple as ordering a pizza. Perhaps the fact we still had stage make-up on from performing at an Industrial festival might have swayed his disapproval, but I feel incensed enough to warrant a review after being so shoddily treated. Pizza would have been fine had he not left such a bad taste...

We had Pollo Americana pizza and it was soo delicious! Cruncy, soft, juicy, perfect amount of cheese, served hot. I have been to different Kotipizzas so many times and eaten different pizzas, and must say this was perfect (thats not always the case). Quick service, our pizzas were ready in 10 minutes. Water is free of charge, drinks are 3,9e (0,5L) and 5,9e (1,5L)

The customer service was super friendly, the place and toilets were clean....
