Le Panoramic — Restaurant in Albertville

I recently visited Le Panoramic and ordered the lasagne, expecting a hearty and satisfying meal. Unfortunately, what I received was deeply disappointing. The portion size was shockingly small, almost laughable for a dish that is supposed to be filling and comforting.

When the plate was brought to the table, I honestly thought there had been a mistake. The lasagne barely filled a third of the plate, and it looked more like a sample than a proper main course. For a dish that is traditionally known for its rich, layered goodness, this paltry serving was an insult to both the dish itself and the customer.

Even worse, the size completely failed to justify the price. At this cost, I expected a substantial portion that would leave me full and satisfied. Instead, I left the restaurant feeling cheated and still hungry. Dining out should provide a complete experience, and this offering fell embarrassingly short.

Service shocking. They have an outdoor hut which shows hot drinks on the menu but when you try to order them, you’re advised to order inside. You try to order inside but told that it’s table service only, with one person doing the table service for around 200 covers!! What was meant to be a quick 14 minute drop for a hot chocolate turned into 30 minutes waiting for service. My partner ordered a crepe and hot dog from the hut and was told that she would shout him when it was ready. 15 minutes later we were wondering where it was so I went up and asked. All the staff must have unfortunately received some terrible news. Most unprofessional service i have ever received / haven't received. Served every table that sat down after us. We waited 30 minutes and every time we signalled the waiter he would put his thumb up and serve a table that sat down after us. We asked others who had been served and surprisingly all the french customer were served and none of the english were. Go figure. I have been on every continent and this is genuinely the worst service Ive ever received. Go next door (Gourmet snack bar) for friendly service and nice food. Avoid...
