🚨“AMERICANS”🇺🇸 & other Tourists be warned🚨

If there was an option to select “Zero” stars I would have.

The security guy they have should be out of a job immediately. I wanted to go in to check it out. The security guy held the door open for a few people to go in before me then as soon as I step close to the door he CLOSED it. Mind you I haven’t said a word to nobody and I’m very presentable, so I was not in the wrong. Once he shut the door in my face I asked him “can I go in”? He then told a guy next to him “ that I just walk up to the door like I own the place and that he does not even know me, so he shut the door”. The security guy was Very rude, unprofessional, disrespectful. Once again should be out of a job.

This bar is located in touristic area in Bordeaux. The security guy is not going to know everybody that walked to those door. His reason for not letting me in and shutting the door in my face is unacceptable!

TO THE OWNER * Just take a second and think of how much business your business is LOOSING because of the type of guy you choose to have as your security guy!

I will NEVER go back there and y’all can be certain I will NEVER recommend this...

Mon amie et moi attendions les toilettes et nous avons vu que l'indicateur était vert, nous avons donc pensé que nous pouvions y aller, mais nous ne pouvions pas ouvrir la porte, nous avons donc dû utiliser notre force et à notre grande surprise, il y avait un homme à l'intérieur, nous nous sommes donc excusées et nous sommes allées ailleurs. Après tout ça, l'homme en question est venu vers nous alors que nous dansions et il a demandé si c'était nous qui forcions la porte et nous lui avons expliqué ce qui s'était passé et il a dit " vous ne pouvez pas faire confiance à l'indicateur, le rouge " n'est pas " occupé " et le vert n'est pas " libre ", il ne faut donc pas se fier à ça" (à quoi devrions-nous se fier alors ?!!!!!). Nous ne voulions pas perdre notre temps sur ce sujet et nous nous sommes excusées mais la conversation a continué mais il y a peut-être eu un malentendu avec mes mots (le français n'est pas ma langue maternelle) et il est devenu très agressif alors j'ai répondu négativement à son comportement indécent, ce qui l'a amené à être très insultant avec le "je m'en fiche de ce que tu as à dire" et à me menacer avec le "j'appellerai le videur pour te faire sortir d'ici si tu continues comme ça" et je lui ai dit "OK, je vais sortir de ce lieu horrible de toute façon, je ne veux pas rester au même endroit avec une personne aussi impolie", alors je suis sorti. Ce n'était pas ma première fois mais c'était certainement ma dernière fois avec ce bar.

J'ai appris qu'il était barman donc je voudrais souligner que le barman avec le tee-shirt gris/blanc qui était présent dans la nuit du Jeudi 26 Décembre 2024 (je ne connais pas son nom et je ne suis pas sûr de la couleur (blanc ou gris) de son haut à cause de l'éclairage) était très impoli et extrêmement désagréable ! Si je pouvais noter 0 étoile, croyez-moi, je le ferais. Au fait, épargnez-moi le "nous avons enquêté nous-mêmes et parlé au barman, et ce n'était pas de sa faute bla bla bla", j'ai juste donné mon opinion et mon ressenti face à cette situation et il y avait de toute façon des témoins et ils ont été choqués par son...

My friend and I went there yesterday. I am back and he is Arab and we were dressed normally, not worse than anyone there. As we were entering, the bouncer cut us off and asked what we were “doing there”. We asked why we couldn’t enter. He told us told us, “I don’t know you”. Then he let in white guys behind us and a huge group white people.

They have a black bouncer, shamelessly, keeping the bar as white as possible. Racism in the 21st century must be denounced. I challenge other black people and Arabs to go check how resilient Calle Ocho at keeping the bar white. Let’s make them own their racism and make them...
