Le Bistro Rigoletto — Restaurant in Bordeaux

Have had better pizza and the wine was disappointing. Tried to pay at table and we were told we had to pay inside. My partner went to pay and had a long wait, came back out and said to me how strange that was to have to go back of house to pay and I assume the owner came at him aggressively saying is everything okay. He just repeated that it was unusual not to pay at the table and she started shouting you are on your holiday and you expect us to do all the work. He replied I just expect to pay at the table like everywhere else in France to which another member of staff started harassing us. After looking around for Italian restaurants to eat, we spotted this place on our third try and was welcomed warmly by the owner (I believe?) He seated us straight away and due to them only opening a few minutes prior we were served to straight away. Even though there was a language barrier, he managed well when ordering our drinks but decided the waitress who spoke better English would be more suited to taking our food order. There was 9 of us in total, so we ordered a lot but it all came out pretty quickly and every single one of our meals was absolutely amazing! It was all cooked perfectly, and tasted delicious! Decided to eat here after reading other reviews. Ate outside and perused a full and interesting menu. I opted for the tagliatelle with ham and mushrooms and wasn't disappointed. It was very tasty. My friend had the 4 cheese tagliatelle and was disappointed as it didn't taste especially of cheese. However the portions were filling. She also had a glass of rose and wished she hadn't.
