One of the biggest highlights of this place is the owner, so kind and welcoming! I was looking for a place to eat traditional French food with my sister and we got to Le Prévert. It was quite late in the day so there were quite a few dishes that were gone that we wanted to try, but the owner was really kind and offered us a free small plate of some leftovers of the blanquette de veau so we could have a taste of it, which was really appreciated and was delicious! We then ordered the tartare de boeuf which was really good and was served with a tasty sauce and a big plate of salad. Even tho I didn't speak perfect French the owner put effort into understanding me and made me and my sister feel welcomed at all times. The owner definitely got a place in our hearts....

We ordered the Prevert salad as well as the beef tartare. This is a place where ingredients shine in simple dishes. The sauce on the tartare was absolutely divine and the flavours of the salad just sing. We also enjoyed the sides that came along with the main (green beans, rice, black beans). Wine was 3.50€ a glass which is a win no matter what!

The food was also great! I'll definitely recommend this place to all my friends who plan visiting Bordeaux.
