I'm very conflicted about my experience here. I feel like the entire three and a half hours of my life spent were reminiscent of the Twilight Zone. Let me start by saying that we had reservations for 6pm, but the restaurant apparently decided not to open until 6:30; we returned at 6:45 and didn't succeed in leaving until 10:15. We had to ask for the menu several minutes after we were seated, and they seemed very surprised we should need to see a menu, even though right next to us other people were discussing the very same menu and choosing their food options. It took a long time to get the appetizer. I don't remember how long, because the fact that we received the main course a full hour and thirty minutes after we FINISHED the appetizer has supplanted all other times in my mind. Their sluggishness in both removing finished dishes and providing new courses is unparalleled. In addition to that, I'm not even sure we actually got the dessert we ordered. In complete contrast to the beautifully plated appetizer and main course, the dessert was served with negative fanfare on paper plates. It wasn't the dessert I know I ordered, but since it was the traditional Christmas Yule log cake available only once a year, I was okay with it. But we certainly didn't get the tea or coffee that was supposed to come with the meal. That was because, three and a half hours of our lives after we arrived, with dessert on paper plates, we decided to cut our loses and leave while we still could. I will note that the appetizer and main course (tajine) were excellent, the service (when it existed) was very friendly, and those were definitely worth the very reasonable price. Hence my internal struggle for how to rate this place. I'm glad I tasted the food, but I would never go back. There were at least four different arguments that four different sets of customers had with the management, which we observed from where we sat, shuffled off into a very cold corner that was yet brightly lit by a spot light and all but directly in front of the main desk yet somehow oh so easily ignored. I don't know what the arguments were about (my French is not that good) but I can only guess reservations or the extreme of slow service. In any case, we were evidently not the only table with issues. Five stars for the food; one for everything else. Will not be back.

I had a wonderful dining experience at this Moroccan restaurant. From the moment I arrived, I was warmly greeted by the owner, whose hospitality made me feel right at home. The food was absolutely delicious, bursting with authentic flavors that transported me straight to Morocco. The cozy ambiance, coupled with the intricate and beautiful dishware, added an extra layer of charm. Every detail, from the decor to the flavors, was thoughtfully curated, creating an immersive and unforgettable experience. Highly recommended
