The food itself and the service was amazing but we were scammed!
When we arrive, it’s 1 pm and we say we want to order a drink and they mention that there is room for us to get lunch at 3 pm so we decide to put ourselves down for a table.
They say to us, we can wait at the beach chairs which are like fold out cushion chairs under an umbrella. So, I clarify, “it’s okay for us to take our drinks over in those in those chairs?” They told us that it was okay and that they would tell us when the table was ready.
What was not mentioned was that just sitting in those chairs would cost us €40 each… quite the surprise when we got the bill.
I’m not sure if the intention was to hide the cost but we asked three times before we sat down whether it was okay to have our drinks there and it was just never mentioned (my wife is French so it shouldn’t have been a language issue). The implication in my mind was that we were having drinks there until our table was ready.
When we explained this when paying the bill they brought it down to €40. Thanks! I was just scammed €40 instead of €80, I guess I should roll over and be happy. I wasn’t about to argue with the server who was super helpful about a mistake that was made 3 hours earlier. So we just paid and left.
The food was great and the service was actually amazing. I’m just surprised they try to scam their customers when they’re already charging...

The reason for this is twofold. On the one hand, we had a lovely lunch; the food was truly delicious and the restaurant staff were friendly.
On the other hand, the beach experience was a complete letdown. During the entire day, we rented sunbeds, but the service was poor and it felt like you only got attention if you were a big spender. What really left a sour taste was the way we were told to leave the beach at 5:30 PM. The staff was quite unfriendly about it, and when we asked if we could have a drink at the bar or a table instead, the only option offered was a dark, tucked-away spot right next to the toilets, as if they wanted to hide us away. For the price you pay, you expect much better service and hospitality.
We really enjoyed the food, but in the end, it's the service that determines whether you return to a place. And for that reason, we will...

After waiting 45 minutes for our table (which had been booked for 14u30, so second shift) we asked when our table would finally be ready. The reaction of the hostess was clear: she had simply forgotten us.
Famished, we looked at the menu. With prices ranging from 18 to 26 for a main course everything looked fine. Finally the maitre came to take our order. He probably noticed we were hungry seeing how, when we first ordered 2 normal main courses, he pushed for the catch of the day with a shared starter.
We got our food, and everything was fine until we got our bill: 115€ for a fish which they had simply put in the oven for 15 minutes!!!! It has been a long time since I have felt this cheated out of my money. Thanks for ruining a...
