During our recent trip to Cannes, my daughter and I stumbled upon this charming little seafood restaurant tucked away in the picturesque Old Town – and what a delightful surprise it turned out to be!
I ordered the Saint Jacques, and it was simply divine – fresh, perfectly prepared, and full of flavor. Every bite was a reminder of just how incredible simple, well-made food can be. The whole meal was a real treat, made even better by the cozy, intimate atmosphere of the restaurant. It truly feels like one of those special places only locals know about.
The service was outstanding. I’d especially like to thank our lovely waitress, Victoria, who made us feel so welcome and taken care of. Her warmth and professionalism really stood out. And a big thank you to the chef, Max, for the extra glass of wine – such a thoughtful touch that made our evening even more memorable.
One more thing that deserves special mention: the music. Whoever is in charge of the playlist has exceptional taste – the background tunes created a perfect ambiance without being intrusive.
Highly recommended for anyone looking for an authentic, heartwarming experience in Cannes. We’ll...
Read moreI was the first one at restaurant around 20:00. It looked very cozy and have gotten great reviews so I thought it was worth a shot to eat there, even tho no one was there.
I ordered moules frites, the mussels were great and the fries really good. But the soup was very oily like a bad lip balm. Also not the most amazing tasting. The bread was stale.
For dessert I got a chocolate mousse that had crystalized I'm guessing it's the sugar. It could have been richer in flavor else it's good.
The service was really great until I was done eating, I was waiting around 20 min before I could ask to pay. 5 min would have been enough to sit and enjoy the vibes before getting approached to ask to pay or they could ask if you wanted a coffee or...
Read moreAlthough the starter and dessert were excellent, the main course left quite a bit to be desired. We began with the seafood platter, which was incredibly fresh and full of flavour — a definite highlight. Unfortunately, the gambas we had as a main were overcooked and rubbery. The accompanying vegetables also lacked seasoning and the overall dish felt quite bland. Thankfully, the dessert made up for it — it was rich, flavourful, and beautifully presented. Despite being located on a touristy side street, the staff were genuinely welcoming and very friendly throughout our visit. Overall, this seems like one of those restaurants where, if you know what to order, you can have a great experience. You just need some experience or a...
