Tribeca Cannes — Restaurant in Grasse

Ordered a pizza, it was raw in the middle. The waiter condescendingly told us it was because it was a Calabrese and this is a region in Italy, as if we didn’t know what we were ordering. He said it was meant to be soggy! It was so raw we only ate half a slice, we then asked for it to be removed from the bill and explained why. We were told no as the owner wasn’t there, which made no sense, as surely they have to cash up at the end of the night. After a very terse conversation, I paid the bill as we didn’t want a scene and then another waiter actually threatened my partner! I was stunned. When I said I was going to leave a bad review the waiter laughed and said he didn’t care. He then proceeded to insult us and tell us to get off the terrace. Clearly this is a regular occurrence looking at other reviews. I’ve never experienced anything so ridiculous. Cooking a pizza is a basic skill. It appears this restaurant trades on its location only. The staff were disgustingly rude. We’d traveled from Paris, through Lyon, Monaco and Nice and had wonderful dining experiences. However, this place was horrific. Rude staff, overpriced poor food, basically a dreadful experience overall. The only redeeming feature was the location. I wouldn’t go to the restaurant again if my life depended on it. If we hadn’t been so embarrassed at being shouted at by two waiters stood over us, I would have refused to pay. I’ve never felt so threatened in a public place. I would go as far as to say it’s actually unsafe to visit and dare to complain....

Horrible service first of all, and the most important thing - food is absolutely disgusting. I went for the fish and chips, which I guess meant I condemned myself since it's impossible to find any good fish and chips in any restaurant in Cannes, and my friend ordered a chicken burger. The waitress was very unfriendly when asked any kind of questions about the food. The chicken burger was dry and I was served one (1) pathetic little breadcrumbed fish finger and some unseasoned salad leaves and a pot of fries, the "fish" of course had absolutely no sort of flavour since it must've been frozen since before they opened the restaurant therefore I sent my dish back as it was inedible for which, of course, I got treated even worse for the rest of the evening. They actually expected me to pay 24€ for my fish and chips. If ever in Cannes, do yourself a favour and stay away...

We got a friendly reception and shown a table. After 2 minutes; napkins, glasses and cutlery appeared. That was it. No contact. No asking for drinks to start. No water. After several attempts (5+) we managed to get waiter to came over. Rude, arrogant, «what do you want-kind-of-attitude» took orders. No advice, no smile, no help. … and we continued waiting… 20 minutes later we got hold of another waiter to figure out what going on. Still no service. We left after 45 minutes.
