Recommended but long review explanation below.
FOOD 5⭐️ - Despite the salty mussels because their main course was excellent and the price was reasonable compared to Paris.
SERVICE 4⭐️ - Crowded by the time we came but thanks to Jawe who assured the service. The restaurant needs to add crew specially during this summer season though because the restaurant was litterally FULL and people were waiting outside.
ATMOSPHERE 4⭐️ - VERY Crowded on peak hours and peak season so you get better atmosphere when there are less people. *and better service too normally
Recommended ? Definitely yes just try to come earlier maybe around 6pm for dinner where the crew are not yet tired and it's less crowded.
We dined at 6:30 on August evening and the restaurant was starting to pack of people very quickly. (*we were able to pay our meal by 9:30pm already so 3hrs for that but we don't complain.)
Due to the place being crowded, we had to wait longer for the service and we had our very hard working server to assist us despite his long very long shift already and they were just 2 servers that time(his colleagues started coming afterwards)
His name was Jawe, a curly haired guy and despite the obvious workload and pressure, he tried his best to look after each and everyone and still provide a warm smile and good service. Thank you Jawe.
We had Moules Marinieres to share for starters but IT WAS VERY SALTY AS IN LIKE THE MUSSEL SOUP TASTED PURE SALT. We ate alll the mussels because we were hungry and i told Jawe about it. He said "You could have told me so we can ask the kitchen to change it since you're paying for it" and i simply told him that "we didn't want to bother them since everybody was busy and setting tables NON STOP" and for sure kitchen was very busy too... others seemed to have enjoyed their Mussels and it's soup so we are sure that ours was a prepared separately.
However, I had their Chicken Paella which is highly recommended if you are hungry as the serving was a lot and could be shared for 2 people and it was the best paella I ever had.
My partner had Entrecote w/ pepper sauce and the meat was tender and cooked perfectly as medium-well.
Maybe time them just fine when it's not too crowded and you're in luck if you get Jawe as your server. BTW dont forget to tip for the service in the least if effort is obvious.
We paid 62euros in total for the Mussels, Chicken Paella and Entrecote. We only had...
Read moreI would like to add a sign in front of this restaurant that says “DO NOT COME HERE”. All the reviews are true and I wish I had read them before randomly choosing them. We ordered from the set menu. The minestrone I had for entree was terrible and nothing like a minestrone should be. We had lasagna as the main course and it was quite tasteless - overall just “meh”. Only good thing was the ice cream we had for dessert and probably because it wasn’t made by them. What was even worse from the food was the service. The waiters were careless and took minimal interest in us. When we tried to get their attention, they looked the other way and tried to make themselves look busy. We ordered water and we had to ask for it three times - finally got it right before the main course. Then they took our dessert order and after that, someone else brought us the menus again... without even saying anything and we didn’t get why. Also we waited forever between courses and most of the time our table was just empty - waiting ridiculously long for less than mediocre food. My friend also got FOOD POISONING from their seafood, but he will probably write...
