Unfortunately, our visit to Le Jardin d’Amélie fell short of expectations. The setting itself has potential, but several aspects of the experience left us disappointed. The food was a real letdown — some dishes arrived tough and undercooked, which made them quite unpleasant to eat. More attention is needed in the kitchen to ensure quality and consistency. Additionally, the service was very slow, partly because there didn’t seem to be enough staff to handle the number of guests. That said, I want to commend the young female staff member who served us. She was very kind, helpful, and did her best to accommodate everyone, despite being overwhelmed and having far too much to manage on her own. We chose to sit outside, but it was uncomfortably hot and there wasn’t much done to make the terrace more pleasant on a warm day. The interior, unfortunately, didn’t offer much atmosphere either, so neither option felt ideal. Overall, while the staff member’s efforts were appreciated, the restaurant requires better staffing, more care in the kitchen, and improvements to the dining environment. With some attention and investment, it could become a nice place — but for now, I cannot recommend it.

Menu is limited, seasonal and not suitable for vegans. Vegetarians would find one option at most. The dish was delicious (an omelette). However, if you are really hungry, better ask for more bread -it's included anyway. The waiter was helpful but not much available with several tables to be served. Generally, my review is positive. Wines are from 6 to 11 euro per glass. One course lunch for two with one glass of wine cost us 77euro.

The place and the waiters were nice. We had some drinks there and they welcomed us very well. Unfortunately we bought a bottle of wine to drink at home, and it was a bad one. :( Please bear in mind to store the wine at the adequate temperature. The wine we bought had 4.1 points in Vivino which is rare for its price and we really wanted to drink it, but it smelled bad when we opened. :((((

We visited Le Jardin d’Amélie spontaneously and loved the charming garden setting with the open BBQ. Service was friendly, though a little reserved.

We ordered an entrecôte to share, expecting a highlight, but unfortunately it arrived rare instead of medium-rare and was so full of tendons that it was almost impossible to cut or chew. When I asked for help, a misunderstanding due to language barriers meant the waiter simply trimmed off the worst parts and returned the same steak. Sadly, the meat was still inedible, and we should have insisted on a new piece.

It’s a lovely place with potential, but I hope future guests will be met with a more gracious solution...
