Booked the restaurant online for Saturday lunch. Was hesitant if I should honour my reservation after I arrived at Deauville and Trouville from Paris as I walked around the Deauville and Trouville, it seems like this restaurant is not very popular amongst French and I did read the reviews... I gave it a try in the end since it is well-located with a good view of the yacht basin. Food was mediocre, bordering on bad - I ordered the sea bass ceviche and there were bones in there (!!) I am glad I was chewing slowly. For mains, I had a Deauville Cheeseburger, which I found strange when the server did not ask me how I would like my beef patty to be cooked but I brushed it off. The burger that arrived at my table, the patty was barely cooked and the meat inside was still completely raw. I would only recommend this restaurant for those who like to have some drinks and enjoy a beautiful view in Deauville. I have never left a restaurant in France in less than 1 hour or less than 2 glasses of wine, my experience there made me want to...
Read moreReally don't get this place. Yet. We live in the neighborhood and had high hopes. But they have turned us away for coffee or drinks and said "Dining Only!". OK, understood. Once seated upstairs, another staff took the lead and we had a really good experience.
Oysters were awesome and the apple tart is a killer.
I think you should really sort out your reception experience as I am not the only one complaining about it looking at the reviews and it really ruins the...
