Amore Amaro — Restaurant in Paris

Worse manager and staff I’ve ever experienced in Paris in all the decades and hundreds of restaurants I’ve eaten at. Arrogance, pompous, egotistical staff. Food was whatever, but the staff were and are a shame on the city. Do not recommend if you are brown or dark skinned, French at its worse.

This place was very much just ok. I guess I expected more with the other reviews & price tag. Entrees took a long time to come out. Music was all over the place - occasionally very loud, stop in the middle of the song, play the same song again, really whiny songs. Was really distracting and annoying. The appetizer was really good. The pasta dishes just ok. My partners dish said it had cherry tomatoes in it - there was 1/2 of a cherry tomato in the whole pasta. We were just looking for something cozy and romantic (with some vegetarian options) for my boyfriend’s birthday and— just walking by— this cozy place caught our eye. We went right in and had such a wonderful time. The staff was so accommodating (and tolerated my terrible French), the food was delicious and the atmosphere was intimate.
