*Would give it a 3.5 out of 5 rating but Google doesn't offer that option. Food (-0.5 star ) Service (-1 star) *
Food The food was decent - it is not the greatest Korean food I ever had nor is it the worse (obviously nothing ever beats a traditional home cooked Korean meal). I decided to dine here after reading reviews on Michelin Guide and Google. Reviewers described the chef as being young and ambitious - using the finest ingredients in traditional Korean dishes with a twist (and offering competitive pricing for the quality and quantity). One can most certainly taste the quality of the ingredients - it's freshness and tastiness. I ordered the pumpkin soup for starter (perfectly seasoned, however a little too sweet for my taste, but overall delicious) and dolsot bibimbap, a personal favourite of mine. The bibimbap was presented beautifully and served in a traditional manner. My only criticism is the lack of spice / spicy options that are typically found in traditional Korean cooking. However, I understand that the food must be catered towards the majority of the demographic here that are not accustomed to similar spicy taste buds. Furthermore, my last comment on the food, was it lacked that twist other reviewers spoke of. I was expecting some sort of brilliant fusion between Korean and French cuisine that will twinkle my taste buds but it ultimately didn't. There wasn't really any spark of flavour or something different and intriguing enough for me to crave for more. Overall, if your looking for decent and affordable Korean food in Paris, it is worth a visit. The restaurant offers vegetarian options for some of their dishes on the menu
Service Perhaps the servers were having an off day - personally, they came off as being cold and inattentive. Needless to say, I did not receive the most welcoming experience.

Read moreAs we walked in the door, we weren’t greeted though the maître d’ noticed us. After she handled few customers then she asked for number of our party. Then we waited. Tables were available, but we watch as others walk in past us (with reservations, I believe). After some time, we were finally seated and had to wait to order.
We ordered:
호박죽 (sweet pumpkin soup) = good 야채튀김 (vegetable tempura) = good 두부조림 (seasoned and heated tofu) = good 김치볶음밥 (kimchi fried rice) = edible but too oily 고등어구이 (grilled mackerel) = fishy. Sent back after a small taste 불고기 (bulgogi) = decent but light on seasoning
When I sent the mackerel back, the owner asked with some agitation (understandably so) why I ordered the fish if I can’t stand the fishiness. My only reply is that I like mackerel but without the fishiness. He stated we still had to pay for the dish (we didn’t even think of not paying for it). To his credit he provided us with a free serving of kimchi.
I am guessing the food at this place has become localized and is no longer truly authentic Korean. The level of service is definitely not Korean (Korean service is...
