We came on Valentines Night which is also my Bday. My friends wanted to surprise me since they are also from Caribbean. The place is very cozy and charming. We were asked to come at 9.15pm and since it was already late we ordered right away. The appetizers came fast enough but the drinks took a minute to come and water wasnât served at the table. Once we finished the appetizers, the main courses took 1.15h to arrive. We had to ask if it was coming since it was 10.50pm. Iâve worked in restaurant business and the most important thing is to communicate with the customers. There was a lack of communication. Mistakes happen in the kitchen and if the food is behind you need to tell your tables. You canât keep them hostage. The food came and it was delicious. The Grilled chicken was awesome. And the Dombre too. Accras and Plantains were fantastic. The chef offered us some cocktails to apologize. Also we were facing the kitchen and we could feel and hear the tension in the kitchen. Also I asked to take my food away since it was late and I wasnât hungry anymore and the guy just put the chicken in a to go box without the sides (coconut rice and the sweet mashed potato) what a surprise the day after when I wanted to finish my dish.    Read moreI tried this caribbean restaurant and, on one side, Iâve got satisfied as the dishes we tried including the appetizers and the fish as main dish were delicious (although probably not representing completely all the variety of caribbean food), on the other side we wanted to try some other dishes but they run out of them so we were left with no so many options (menu is definitely not vast). The service was polite and prices on the average. Overall we had a good experience and hopefully we are going to try new dishes next time with a...
