Boulangerie Midoré - Faubourg Saint Honoré — Restaurant in Paris

Been here twice, but not again. The first time I thought the person waiting on me was just having a bad day, but today all three people on duty acted like it was an inconvenience to sell me an over-priced croissant (that was inferior in quality to one I could buy day-old at LiDL), and a luke warm cappuccino.I even had to ask for sugar, and was given one packet, when I requested a second, I was treated with indignity. Their behavior made me feel like I was a beggar off the street who was asking them for a free meal. Really terrible service. Even if the food had been good (which it was not), their behavior and bad attitude would completely ruin any chance of enjoying...

Pain acceptable.

J'ai été tenté de mettre 1/5 mais je mets 2/5 car le monsieur "âgé" (celui qui a un problème d'audition) est adorable et très serviable.

L'autre monsieur un peu plus jeune est quant à lui extrêmement désagréable et mesquin; J'ai une fois demandé un pain tranché ainsi qu'une crêpe au chocolat, pendant que je cherchais ma monnaie, il s'avère qu'il a passé ma crêpe au micro-onde (puissance maximale, elle fumait en sortant) sans que je n'en ai fait la demande, je lui fait remarquer poliment. Ce monsieur m'a répondu que je n'avais qu'à lui préciser et que c'est ma faute, avec un ton très arrogant. J'ai alors demandé une nouvelle crêpe, non chauffée cette fois. Il m'a regardé très mal, comme si je lui avais arraché le bras. Il a remplacé la crêpe et n'a plus sorti un seul mot. Arrivé chez moi, je m'aperçoit qu'il a mis une crêpe nature (j'ai payé le prix de celle au chocolat).

Quand j'ai besoin de pain, je passe sur le trottoir d'en face et je rentre s'il n'est pas là, sinon je marche jusqu'à la prochaine...

We called in just before closing time after a tiring day’s sightseeing. We wanted a sandwich and cake to take back to our hotel. The lady serving was lovely, friendly and helpful. Sandwiches were still fresh and cakes yummy. Perfect patisserie/boulangerie right next...
