The Beaucour is a rare gem, and we were thrilled to discover it here in this neighborhood. It’s the perfect place for drinks and tapas. The ambiance is lovely, the food is delicious (you must try the crunchy chicken), and both the menu and staff are English-friendly—making it a standout for value in the area. Best of all it is kid-friendly! This evening, we enjoyed an exceptional meal, and Mathieu went above and beyond to make our night truly memorable. Our eight year old especially enjoyed the experience. Thank you, Mathieu! I’m sure we will see you again before we return to the States.

Last November, we had hamburgers here and they were to die for. The patties were more like patties of beef tartare with a delicious bechamel sauce and a white cheese on top. It was so good that we decided to have it the next time we returned to Paris and have it for our lunches. But no, we said we wanted the cheeseburger, instead we got shredded beef drenched in a sweet barbeque sauce, and an orange American cheese, and something like velveta cheese type sauce on top, and with all the sweet caramelized onion and sweet pickles added. An Americanized travesty at its finest. I am begging you, please do not do that...

At Beaucour à la folie, you can expect service that’s as warm as your morning coffee. The waitstaff are incredibly kind and make you feel right at home. On weekend evenings, they open several karaoke rooms in the basement—perfect for belting out your favorite tunes after a drink or two. The atmosphere is fantastic, with decor that’s perfectly balanced—stylish yet cozy. I ordered the prada cheese toast, and let me tell you, it was top-notch. Delicious, well-prepared, and just the kind of comfort food you’d hope for in such a charming spot. Definitely...
