A better crêpe you will not find anywhere. Brutus excels equally at savory and sweet, and the foundation is flawless. The savory crêpes arrive wafer-thin and laced with delicate crispness at the edges, yet carry real flavor from the flour itself, a clean, cereal-grain note that reads as quality. The batter work is exacting, the eggs vivid and rich, and the pan control immaculate. Fillings feel forward-thinking without gimmickry, the kind of combinations that make sense on the palate because the crêpe remains the point. Meats are tender, vegetables and greens land perfectly seasoned and balanced, and every bite keeps its structure.

Dessert is just as dialed. Ice cream on the sweet crêpe was silken and intensely flavored, the Nutella sauce warm, glossy, and judiciously applied so the crêpe never turns heavy. We paired the meal with a pear cider that was among the best I've had, bright and gently tannic, an ideal counterpoint to both savory richness and dessert.

Part of the pleasure here is the sensibility in the room. The team skews young, and you can feel it in the willingness to experiment while never losing sight of the craft. The atmosphere is youthful, energetic, low-key, and quietly refined, the sort of place where a world-class lunch just unfolds without strain.

If crêpes are your thing, Brutus is a destination. If they aren't yet, this is where you...

When you live in Paris, you can’t but eat crêpes once a week and luckily, Brutus cidrologue crêpophile, opened in Rue des Dames where you can have your special treat with a glass of cider as they serve 25 kinds of it. The place is beautiful with an artistic touch, a warm atmosphere and an excellent service. The owners wanted to give a fresh new makeover for 2 pillars of the French gastronomy; the crêpe ans the cider. The crêpes are prepared with buckwheat, a gluten free flour coming straight from Brittany, and you have a big variety to choose from, from the revisited originals to their very own signatures. The sweet crêpes are also highly enjoyable; the one with crème de marron and lotus was divine! I highly recommend Brutus for its excellent crêpes and refreshing cider guaranteeing to give you a...

the crepes are great. i’ve eaten better, but still, 9/10. atmosphere is great; no unnecessary loud music whatsoever. quite cozy. toilets are very clean. service is not bad, but a bit amateur. our plates came one after the other, some of us had to start eating, some of us watching but it was like 2-3 minutes so no problems.

the waiter took our orders and asked us to verify three times, we were speaking french though; the problem was being unable to remember it. maybe use pen and paper? would be better than interrupting. yet it’s not a huge issue obviously. worth a...

Absolutely fantastic! Ambience: Lively and well-decorated. Perhaps even a bit understated. Food: I've had an Odette (salty) and an Eliane (sweet). Both are very delicious with mild flavors. Especially Eliane was made very well as it was filled with chocolate but of the right sweetness. Cappucino was slightly bitter, but since I am not a coffee person, I wouldn't comment more on that. Prices are affordable as well. Service: Quick and friendly. They even have the menu in English, which is quite helpful. Easy recommendation. Would like to visit again!

I almost don't want to share it as I feel it is such an amazing Parisian experience to eat here. The portions are sufficient, the savory and sweet crepes are phenomenal and the cider is just amazing. If you visit Paris, Brutus is a MUST to experience. I brought my family here as part of a trip to Europe I wanted to share with them and this restaurant I prebooked as a must-visit. My son, who is particularly difficult to find food outside for, ate the the Julia crepe. A carefully crafted menu, and there is something for everyone!

Booked a table for 2 on the 4th at 7 pm, when the restaurant opened up for dinner, and very glad we did. It immediately began filling up and the place was packed within half an hour. Very deserved, the food was delicious, we had "samosas" as an entrée (pictured), a hazelnut cream and salted caramel crêpe as a main course, and a bottle of cidre to share. The serving staff were also very friendly and spoke great English. We had a French menu but an English menu was available if we'd needed it.
