The worst experience I’ve personally ever had in a restaurant anywhere in the world.
I spent roughly 23 euros for a medium-cooked steak. The steak came out well-done. I didn’t want to send back the steak, and wanted to just eat it as it was but it was the worst steak I’ve had in my life. Completely dry. No seasoning on it. No salt. No pepper. No flavor at all. Just over cooked lowest-quality meat. Im not exaggerating when I say a 5 year old could cook a better steak. I called the waiter, who never checked up on us, to send the steak back. He took it to the kitchen and brought back the same steak even more cooked! Okay. A simple misunderstanding. I’m speaking English. He understands French. But the least he could have done is say he doesn’t understand instead of doing the complete opposite of what i asked for.
I explain the simple misunderstanding. He then proceeds to gas light me into saying my steak was medium cooked! I’m the one that ate it. It was well done. He then refuses to remove the steak from my bill. Says sorry but does absolutely NOTHING to fix the situation. No other steak. No discount. No maybe side dish. Nothing. 23 euros and a wasted effort of showing kindness and patience...
Read moreI’m gonna be completely transparent with you guys, this is one of the best meals I’ve had in a long time. If you’re looking for a calm and nice place where you’d like to have breakfast, lunch or dinner, I recommend you come here! Me and my mom got pizza here and ordered takeaway for my sister and dad back at home. The food was really tasty and fresh, not to mention that they brought it really fast. The drinks are, as well very promising and the water (free btw) feels really refreshing, considering most restaurants serve unclear tap water. The staff is really nice and they speak English very well, as a traveler, this was a really great lunch for a really nice price,...
Read moreThe food wasn't bad, I liked my pizza (I think the goat cheese) and most things were relatively good. However, when I asked for a carafe of tap water, the waitress refused, claiming that they don't do that. When I pointed to other tables that clearly had one, she tried to argue. I didn't know it at that time, but my understanding now is that restaurants in Paris are required to bring tap water if asked. Suddenly she did show up with glasses of water for us, but it was odd that she refused at first. At the end, she demanded I leave a tip. The food wasn't bad, but definitely our worst dining...
