Awful. If I could rate this restaurant a zero I would. The service was awful and the waiter was abrupt and slow. I was told that they did not have a kids menu, however I read that other people were offered half portions. I ordered steak well done and it came rare enough I had to ask if they could cook it more. I hate to send back food. The steak had been drenched in gravy and when it was returned I thought I had a new steak as there was not a bit of gravy. I asked the "Manager" for gravy politely. He sneered at me and stated LOUDLY and rudely that he did not understand, he did not know what I wanted and he did not speak English. He proceeded to loudly flirt with a table of young girls 3 tiny tables over, in English.
As I started eating my steak I noticed it was the same steak I had before that had been drenched in gravy. I have no idea how they removed all traces of gravy other than to rinse it in something. I was very sick the next day. Unfortunately I can not prove of course it was this restaurant, but I sure do think so.
I would NEVER recommend this restaurant, the food and service, and the horrid Manager are awful. We were a quiet, polite set of tourists stopping at this restaurant who did not deserve the treatment received. I don't ever review restaurants and was so offended and bothered by our experience I took the time to make sure and share it with others. There are so many other restaurants around take the time to visit one where you wont be treated in this fashion. Additionally, if the Manager and servers hate tourists so much perhaps they should find another job.
The only positive was...
Read moreAVOID! - This place is abysmal. The lads who are 'waiters' were all cocky and rude. When we were seated we asked for a different table as we were in line from some smokers smoke, and the waiter rolled his eyes. No service skills at all. One chap walked around chewing gum (mouth open). When we asked for our bill we were not given visual cues that we had been acknowledged, then our bill was slung on the table... The place is inline from the Hotel deVille stop and the Notre Dame Catheral, thus they get a natural foot-fall of customers wandering in. They appear to make no effort with customers, almost seeing them as an inconvenience. The Chef needs a clap, because the food was not bad at all (Omelette) and the beer was tasty, only these two aspects were good. However, there are better places to get good beer and tasty omelettes in Paris - places where the waiters respect the customers...sadly not at Le Parvis. Again for...
Read moreWe sat in this restaurant because was in between lunch and dinner time and they served food - the service and was terrible and the way they treat their customers as well. All of a sudden I was attacked by a bee which drowned in my French onion soup - the manager came and told me he cannot make another soup for me, he ask me to pay the dish that I couldn’t eat because of outside of restaurant circumstances - not only but I got healed at because of the bee who attacked me. I cannot recommend a restaurant where customers are treated in such a horrible way. That is not a place to enjoy it to stress out. Honestly, I think the health department need to inspect the place because I was offered to keep eating the soup with the bee in it - “how dare me asking for an exchange”. Stay away from...
