The only good thing I can say about this place is that the escargot were really good. And the caprese salad. Lots of olive oil and pesto. However, we were pressured into eating here for the happy hour cocktail prices. My daughter and friend ordered the mojitos, I ordered a beer. The mojitos we had elsewhere last night were really good, but the mojitos here were terrible. Tasted like dishwater. Even the people next to us who showed up late and ordered mojitos clearly thought they were terrible too. So we asked for small red wines instead. I love the atmosphere here, it is very positive and welcoming. It's in a very accessible area, and service is outstanding. Friendliest, most helpful staff I have met in a while, the English seems to be very good, and servers afe very good at catering to peoples needs.
Okay. The food. It was absolutely phenomenal. I highly recommend the onion soup (a hearty, filling dish with a salty, rich demeanour with delightful undertones of a pleasantly chewy texture. Served with cheese and croutons.) and the citrus lemonade (sweet, reminiscent of oranges and lemons, with a punchy, justified tang, really completing the meal. )
I love this...
