As a tourist from the United States, coming to this restaurant was probably the worst experience I had in Paris. It made me never want to come back. If I could do 0 stars I would. #1, we came to the restaurant 5 minutes early for our reservation, and we had a group of 25. They told us we had to wait outside so they could get ready. We were stuck outside for the next 15 minutes. My tour guide was trying to figure things out, and the poor guy was just getting yelled at, and eventually kicked out. Still confused at why, he is literally a tour guide trying to get us into our restaurant for our reservation. I will say the food was okay, but the Sauna of an upstairs made it not good to eat. I was dripping sweat in my food. I will say that the waitstaff was amazing but the Men of the building made it awful. #2, we finished our food and were trying to leave, but we got stopped trying to go downstairs by the man who kicked out our tour guide, and he said that we couldn’t even go downstairs or outside to get some fresh air. He told us we had to have our tour guide come back to leave. Tell me how that makes sense if you kicked him out and made him to fend for himself and then you want him to come back to get us? You’d think that a big tourist town would give you a better experience but this downright sucked. I Will never be...

Went here for Happy Hour. The drinks were ok, the Happy Hour snacks were quite good. All in all it was a pleasant afternoon and I was enjoying myself. Then the server brought the check in a little pot and very clearly said that the tip is not included in the bill and that something can be left in the little pot if I wanted.

Now this is not my first time to France and I speak French so why he thought I was fresh off the tourist boat, I don't know. I normally leave 1 or 2€ when I've had a good experience and probably would've left a 2€ piece as I had been enjoying myself (even though I didn't like the drink I ordered, I did like the snack and the atmosphere) but after having been lied to, all joy from the experience was cancelled. The bill was paid and absolutely nothing was left for the server.

A shame that the industry in the most touristic areas think they can scam people like this. I've heard of this happening via YouTube videos but I've never met anyone this had happened to before and this had never happened to me before.

So if you choose to go here, enjoy yourself and just don't be surprised if you find out the staff are looking to make extra...

Very unprofessional staff.

Ordered lunch and a mojito. We wanted it without alcohol. It arrived with alcohol. Asked the waiter to change it to non alcoholic, took the drink asked the bar and came back saying that if we want to change it we will be charged double. When he said that we wanted to leave the restaurant but our hunger won.

Only when i asked for the manager the woman bartender said its her. Asked her if she can replace the drink or otherwise we dont want it. She just took the drink and disappeared without letting us know if we should wait for a new drink or not. I wonder what does it cost to make a new drink for your customers without charging twice for something we will not drink.

Or is it because we are tourists? In the end they removed the drink from the bill but the whole mood was very awkward.

Disappointed , expected higher standards due to high...

Overall, I thought the food and the atmosphere were wonderful. I order the Crispy Cesar, which the menu said came with chicken and mozzarella. I assumed it was going to be a Caesar salad; instead, it had a balsamic vinaigrette dressing. Honestly, I was pleasantly surprised. The chicken was fried and quite delicious, the dressing was great, the green beans were good, and it came with a poached egg. It was delicious and it would be something I’d order again. I also ordered the chocolate cake and it was excellent. It had a chocolate filling that was really good, and a caramel drizzle between the ice cream and the cake. It was an excellent ending to dinner. The restaurant’s ambiance was also very pleasant. The only thing I’d caution people on, especially those of limited mobility, is the fact that the toilet is up two flights of stairs.

I didn’t like their seating arrangement neither the food. We ordered steak (the only thing they had), some beers and desert. To be honest the desert was really good and perhaps why I didn’t give them a one star rating. But the steak was terrible, perhaps iHops level. Very disappointed with the main dish. We ordered medium steaks, and they were definitely not medium. Probably medium rare. I could tell it’s probably because the meat was taken out of the fridge and quickly cooked which in my experience causes this issue. We ordered French beer which were good. Nothing special but ok. The rice with one of the steaks had no taste. Not At all. We ordered one of the steaks with vegetables and the vegetables didn’t have any taste either. It was a WARM sunny day in high 80s (87-88 F), and there was no AC nor even a fan.

We visited around 5 o clock on a Tuesday and there was only one other family there. I really enjoyed my meal here. The food was relatively cheap considering it was in the centre of Paris, for example a kids meal was 11-12 euro for a main course and either a chocolate cake or an ice cream which is pretty good value. For our entire meal as a family of 5 it was about 120 euro with dessert and drinks included which is pretty good considering it would be the same as where I am from in Ireland. The lights went out for some reason but they fixed it and the staff made sure everyone was ok after it happened. If I was to come back to Paris I would come here and I would recommend it to people. Nice food, good spot, not too busy and not overpriced.
