An ideal French Brasserie. First off, the food was amazing. I had the Argentinian steak and as a meat lover, it was honestly perfect for this price range. The owner is Argentinian so that helps. As a Belgian I can tell you that the fries were very good as well, and the mayonnaise home made! Fine wines and a great food experience over all. Not to forget the wonderful mousse aux chocolat as a dessert topped with fleur de sel and olive oil (!). What a banger combo. On top of that the staff and their service was extremely helpful and kind, probs to these guys.
Also the restaurant was very beautiful over all, great atmosphere. Beautifully designed and colored - typically French. And it being next to the Louvre makes even more remarkable as the prices were very affordable. Portions are not enormous though but still sufficient. (I’m a big eater)
Will definitely come here again each time I’ll visit...
Read moreI recently visited this restaurant, and I must say, it’s one of the best places I’ve been to in France! The atmosphere is wonderful – elegant yet cozy, with pleasant background music that adds to the charm.
The service is exceptional: the staff is polite, professional, and truly knowledgeable about the cuisine they serve. Each dish was recommended with passion and precision, and the wine pairings were perfectly chosen for the meal. Special mention to Eric, the best waiter, who made the experience unforgettable with his warm and attentive service.
The food was simply outstanding! From starters to dessert, everything was flawlessly prepared, beautifully presented, and bursting with flavor. This is a place I will definitely return to, savoring every bite. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to experience the true flavors of France at...
Read moreStopped off for a quick lunch and had the plat du jour. At €18.50 for two courses it is one of the more expensive I have come across but I put this down to its proximity to The Louvre. Had Aubergine Brochette and Sea Bass Carpaccio to start and both were very tasty. A lot of salad on both plates disguised the small portion but the salad was dressed very well. Beef tartare and Veal for mains and both were very tasty with good portions of both. Tartare was served with crisps however which was a little disappointing. Nice carafe of white wine to go with the meal for €16 which was lovely. Overall we would recommend however the outside, whilst lovely, did have a bit of sewer smell going on. A lot of people seemed to sit inside before choosing to sit outside so maybe they were more in the know. Would...
