Upon my arrival, the waitress was super nice and offered to translate the whole french menu (so amazing) and I decided to share a tomahawk steak with my daughter. The waitress said it would take twenty minutes and the chef actually showed us the steak before cooking - the steak actually took around 40 minutes. Was not up to my expectations for a $100+ cut of meat (9 euros per 100 grams), came with a lot of fries that we couldn't finish.
Food quality is.not up to par for the price. Steak was pre-salted (I normally salt it after it's plated on table) and too salty. Steak wasn't evenly cooked, some parts were almost raw and some were pretty well done. Chef was super nice though, even offered to cook more if we were still hungry. We came in at 7pm on the dot and ate until 8pm - the whole time we saw NOT A SINGLE SOUL dine at the restaurant, probably because the entrance is on a side street and the restaurant is pretty hard to find in general. Conclusion: a bit overpriced for a steak with below-amateur quality. super friendly staff, quirky location P.S check...
Read moreAn absolute gem of a restaurant. The staff were delightful, genuinely friendly and very attentive despite the restaurant being completely full. The menu is small but with a perfect amount of diversity. We had the eggs with mayonnaise, the leeks, the foie gras, and the langostinos served ceviche style as starters. All were delicious and perfect in their presentation. For the entrees, I was already looking forward to trying the stuffed cabbage and, wow, it was fantastic. The roasted potatoes Daphne were a nice vegetarian accompaniment. All in all, a great experience and we look forward to dining their again when next...
Read moreThis restaurant was so good we had to go twice in four days. It is fantastic. The service is super friendly, kind and helpful. Special shout out to Ala who too such good care of us and Ishmael who gave superb wi e advice and service both nights. I agree the stuffed cabbage was superb. Only bettered by the entrecôte steak. Great authentic Parisian starters and desserts - my wife and I loved the rice pudding and the pistachio crème brûlée. Lovely atmosphere and once again great service. It was a highlight of our trip and by far the best place we ate...
