Had a really nice meal here. Booked it online and because of it being May Day and the demonstrations we were not sure about the metro operations, so we arrived 15 mins early, but were seated straight away. We both decided on the parsley and garlic sauteed frogs legs. They were a delight. Served with 1/2 cherry tomates And there was quite a lot of meat on them. It was a good start. I chose the Angus rib steak which came with mashed vitellottie potato. The potato was not mashed, but whole and there were only 3 and a lot of carrot puree. My partner went with the traditional Ravioli with Comte cheese in a mushroom and herb cream sauce. The steak was a supreme piece of meat and must have been about 300 to 400grams. I was in heaven eating it. The potatos were really nice and I loved the pureed carrot it was well worth the €29 price tag. My partner said the raviola was very tasty and beautiful. She added the crispy bacon, which while it was nice, was not needed. And she had a side portion of fries which were nice. We both had the Cream Puff. A profiteroles type desert, only far better. It was a single ball of light shoux pastry filled with light praline cream and flaked almonds snd hazlenuts served with hazelnut ice cream. We both agreed it was the best sweet we had this trip. With 1 X 500ml Penguin lager, 1x 500ml Eidelweiss White beer (beautiful) and 2 large cocktails it came to €136.50. We will be going back tomorrow for lunch on our last day. The staff were really friendly and willing to interact and happy to suggest what was...
Read moreThe service here was actually unparalleled and awesome!! The woman and man working the entire front by themselves were incredibly kind and sweet. We tried snails here for the very first time and they took the time to show us how to eat them and they were DELICIOUS. My husband ordered the cockerel and I got the ribeye steak. I actually ended up enjoying all the sides and bread more than the meat- the salad had this tangy delicious dressing on it, the fries were just 👌🏽👌🏽, and the bread was amazing. The ribeye was a little too fatty for me, so if you’re not a fan of eating fat, I would suggest choosing another dish. But the ribeye was also paired with a chimichurri sauce that was A+! They have free tap water here, so if you’re thirsty just ask for it, they’ll bring out a cold bottle to you (but make sure you ask for tap, not still!). The highlight of the meal for me was definitely the snails. I’m not sure what kinda sauce they were cooked in but it was drenched in butter and some green things and they were so so so good!! We ended up wishing we had just ordered five platters of snails 😂😂 all in all, a solid dining experience, we spent about €46 for two mains and the snails. They also looked like they had delicious cocktails behind the bar, so if you’re not on a budget like we were, order some cocktails with some of their...

Food: 4/5 I got the lamb shoulder with dauphine potatoes. Paired with the gravy it comes with, both were absolutely incredible. I just wish they had more of the gravy. Rated it lower because the lamb was a bit dry without the sauce. The bread is also great to eat with the gravy.
Service: 2.5/5 Was greeted quickly and even though I had a reservation, they sat me at the bar. I requested a table instead and they re-sat me in a better location. Everyone was rushing though which makes you feel rushed as well which I did not like. They also brought out the bread (meant to be an appetizer) AFTER they brought my main out, probably because they forgot. Also, I asked one of the waiters for the wifi password and before I could finish my sentence, he interrupted me and quickly said 007, then proceeded to talk to another table. If I had been hard of hearing or didn’t catch it, I wouldn’t have been able to ask him again. I’m giving them some grace as I did go on Dec 26 so it was busier, but the way they rushed did not leave a good impression on me at all.
Atmosphere: 5/5 It was a smaller restaurant and in a good location, however I would not come here again and probably wouldn’t...
