I had a lovely experience with the food, thoroughly enjoying the champagne, beef tartare, and chocolate mousse, finished with an espresso. Each dish was beautifully prepared and tasted excellent. However, I felt there was some room for improvement in the service. I’d like to acknowledge that some staff members are clearly professional and kind, though my server on this occasion left me a bit disappointed. For instance, when I requested radishes with my starter, I was informed they were out of season. However, I later noticed that another table was served radishes, which left me wondering if there had been a misunderstanding or if my request was overlooked. Additionally, after asking for tap water, it was never brought to the table. I had planned to order dessert, but it seemed as though the server expected me to finish my meal quickly, despite it being only 2 pm (with lunch service continuing until 2:30 pm and I started lunch over 1pm). Despite my table server, the gentleman waiter who found my table (I walked in) was very nice and professional. Thank the gentleman. While these details may seem minor, they impacted my experience. Nonetheless, the food was excellent, and I hope this feedback helps in fine-tuning what is otherwise a wonderful dining atmosphere

You need to reserve the table but at least in winter, We could reserve a table online one day before. The waiter was really great, funny, professional and informative. He couldn’t talk English well but still good enough to make us comfortable. They brought the perfect baguette and butter at first. We started with a mushroom sauce with egg! It was new and tasty, and We ordered supreme the poulet which is chicken breast cooked with white wine and of course the Joue de boeuf which is braised beef with some steamed veggies, and mashed potatoes and both were really good. And the cream puff ice cream which they add some hot chocolate on top was a great finish! We enjoyed our food and totally recommend for french cousin! All the food came out 77 euros.

They were friendly and hospitable. The food was also delicious. I was visiting Paris for the first time and I did not have a reservation. I made sure I arrived there as soon as they opened for dinner as to see if I could bee seated. They were accommodating which I greatly appreciated. I'm English speaking so I did the best with what I knew, but I can also say some of the individuals who assisted me spoke English. Out of respect for their culture I would recommend you do your best with what French you know, learn some words for dining and research the menu ahead of time to make the process as smooth as possible. Thank you Le Bistrot de Paris for making my first dining experience in Paris an enjoyable one.

We walked into the restaurant on a Wed night around 8:30pm with half the restaurant empty, we waited a while and made eye contact with a few of the waiters that didn’t even acknowledge us. The old male manager/front of house finally came over and with a lot of attitude said ‘do you have a booking’, we said no… (we thought it would be ok given we saw half the restaurant was empty) he said in a very rude tone ‘make sure you make a booking next time’ and reluctantly started clearing a table..

After that rude attitude we just said don’t worry and left, not even worth spending our money here.. if the front of house service is like that, i can’t imagine how the rest of the service would be. There’s plenty of restaurants around the area to go to instead…

We just walked down 10m or so and went to ‘Les Antiquaires’ restaurant and had great food and GREAT service there instead.

To the management/owner - not sure if you know this, but your front of house service is very important..

WOULDN’T recommend people to eat here especially if you...

my first trip to Paris was amazing to say the least. We were going to head to Hotel Costes however Kim K and Kayne were there due to it being fashion week so we could not get in. The next night, my fiancé suggested Le bistro as he had been before so we went there the night after we got engaged. It was a quintessential French experience. Our waitress Shantel was adorable and barely spoke a word of English but she was more than kind and sweet. I ordered the Endive and Roquefort salad, fillet mignon with bearnaise, and potatoes. It by far was the best thing I had ever eaten and I'm a huge red meat lover. We opted for the Ruinart Rosé champagne and it was delicious. Everything about this restaurant was perfect, the service, drink selection, and food was all incredible. As we left Shantel gave us a warm hug and kiss on the cheek. We WILL be making it our go to dinner spot on our escapes to Paris from now on. Highly recommend this to ANYONE who wants a fabulous dinner in Paris who...
