Coffee Parisien — Restaurant in Paris

Horrible customer service and food that looked plastic !

We called before arriving to take a reservation for a Sunday brunch, they don't take reservations but they said that it should be ok to take a table for 6 at 13h, we entered to the restaurant and the host made the suggestion to wait at the bar for our table. We waited ten minutes and a tables was cleared, he gave the table to a woman who came with her daughter and came in after us, why? Because she was a regular customer. We didn't say anything and order our food because we were starving and excited cause this restaurant had good reviews. Me and my friends ordered waffles, bacon & egg and when the plate came out, it was a joke. Waffle cold, bacon and egg burned. We demanded a change because it's insane to pay for something that bad. At the end we ended up eating normal Benedict eggs (better that waffles). Horrible experience, horrible customer service, the only good things was the lady who served us coffee. Don't recommend this...

I don’t know what happened to this place. Maybe there was a change of management. It’s been two times I come here and the food hasn’t been great. I used to crave their cheeseburger but last time I had it wasn’t good. The meat was overcooked I even though I had asked for rare. The taste was not great either. I didn’t eat it. That being said, my friend’s club sandwich deluxe was good so we shared that instead. I thought it was an isolated incident. Second time I came here was yesterday, and my scrambled eggs were not eatable, there was liquid egg water on the bottom of the plate, not very appetizing. Also a piece of bacon from my friend’s plate looked stale, and she preferred not eating it. Service was friendly but not well organised. The runners are clearly overwhelmed and the person supposed to seat people and take orders is completely out of it. I don’t think I’ll come back to this address, which is a shame because I loved their menu. Hopefully the one on the left bank...

The idea of an American themed restaurant in Paris is interesting, though the name of this restaurant doesn't really indicate that theme? Regardless, when my daughter said she wanted burgers for dinner, Google delivered Coffee Parisien as the best option near us, and I'm so glad it did! The food was classic New York City diner fare, which is my comfort food and also my love language. Our whole family had a wonderful meal! And the service was fantastic, no false notes at all. Highly recommended!

PS -- Not sure what's going on w/ the negative reviews for this restaurant but I couldn't disagree more. If you're in the 16th and craving American food, you won't do better than...
