My daughter doesn't like much in the way of food so traveling is tough, but she'll eat crepes. Our first full day in Paris, I asked her to choose a creperie from among the many on this block. She chose Creperie Port-Manech because she thought it looked the nicest. Because she is hard to feed, we ate here every night of our visit. While they do speak English (and have English menus, for those who prefer) they were lovely about letting my try to order in French and helping me with pronunciations when I asked. I tried many different savory crepes, all delicious, but the Landerneau was my favorite. If you're in the neighborhood, make time to stop in for a crepe or three!

Our French hosts wanted to give us the experience of what they considered the best crepes in Paris. This restaurant offers crepes that are done in the style of Brittany and were the best crepes i have eaten. The main courses are named after towns in Brittany and the style of each matches the traditional offerings from those towns and regions. Served with the traditional apple cider to enhance the experience. The mains are served using buckwheat flour crepes, thin and crispy. The fillings are moist and full of flavor. Dessert are served in white flour crepes and were delicious. A real treat and a lovely away to end our street in France.

The options on the menu all sounded so splendid, that I had an immensely difficult time deciding on the right one. I chose the Douarnenez which is a sliced thin duck breast, golden apples, camembert, mesclun, pine nuts all tucked into a buckwheat crepe. My dining companions each had different crepes. Although I don't remember the ones they selected, I did take a bite of each, and they were all absolutely delightful. I highly, highly recommend this crêperie.

The food was good, but I was frustrated by the arguing involved to get everything that is listed in their daily menu special. There kept being excuses why they couldn't bring the drink in the adult menu then when the bill came, we were charged additionally for the drinks in the child menu. Even after we complained about this and they re-did the bill, they still charged for one of the drinks. We gave up in the end but it left a really bad taste in our mouths and I would not recommend eating here. Staff should either be fully aware of their menu special and they shouldn't be ripping...
