Léon — Restaurant in Paris

What an appalling service and unprofessional team, the service and the dishes were not adequate at all:

1- the fries were served cold and tasted as if they were reheated. 2- there was hardly any rice in Paella dish, not even equal to kids' portion and when we raised the issue, we ended up receiving an extra bowl of rice on the side that was dry with no flavour. 3- the wine glass was dirty and full of stains - when asking the waiter for a new glass, he took 10 minutes to replace it and never even asked why the request for a new glass. 4- the mussels were not presented in a pot but in a plate despite our request i.e. we most probably received a different dish than we had ordered. When we raised the complaint the waiter replied in a dry manner - "This is what you ordered! It is good, try it!!!! " ZERO courtesy to ask if there was a miscommunication in the order. 5- The service team is reckless and unable to communicate in English.

This was the 3rd visit to the place and it would definitely be the last!!

Horrible Service.

I called ahead to see if they had availability for that night. Language barrier but was told “oui m’dame” that I was good to go.

When arriving to the restaurant, there was no host/hostess. Took several minutes before someone greeted. When they did, I was asked if I spoke French. I said no, I spoke Spanish. He condescendingly said “I need to speak a little French”. When asked if I had a reservation, I said yes, I called an hour ago. When he looked it up…he found none. I told him I called and gave my name.

In order to seat those behind us, he sat us down out of frustration. After considering the level of service received at the door, I sat down and left. Didn’t even try the food. I had dinner just across the street at Cafe Montparnasse, service and...
