Fagot Paris — Restaurant in Paris

I was so surprised upon arrival that I had been here with my kids back in 2019 when it was a wine bar! It was great then but I’d forgotten where it was so couldn’t go again Until last night! The place had been expanded and redecorated to what it is now.

We loved the chef’s cuisine which had a Mediterranean flair in some of the dishes. Very pleasant atmosphere to sit on the terrasse. Service was very good and attentive but a little harried because the terrasse were filling up.

The service was quite slow. The staff apologized many times; when they left us waiting along time at the table, when they forgot an item from our order, and even when we left a good portion of the ribs that were served burned. On that last one, the waiter saw the food was burned even before we said anything, and then proceeded to tell us it wasn't their fault and that sometimes smaller pieces of ribs get overcooked. The wine choices were interesting, but service and food quality didn't meet...

Very pleasant experience. The restaurant is in a clean and charming alleyway decorated with flags. There are other restaurants, little shops and businesses. There are a few tables outside and plenty of space inside. Lunch is a set price with a choice of starters, mains and desserts. Everything about this was charming — service, the food was fresh and well presented. Portions perfectly sized. We didn’t drink but the wine list looked interesting.
