Marcella — Restaurant in Paris

It might be because this was a particular busy night but the service was the worst ever. I would not recommend anyone to go to this place is service an important part of your restaurant experience.

We waited 40min before any waiter come to our table for the orders. I actually had to go to the bar to tell the waiters that we have been waiting 40min and that he kept saying "yes i will come now" and I just insisted "it has been 40min I am not leaving the bar until someone take our orders at our table" .

We then realised it was not just us as all the tables next to us who arrived before were canceling orders. So on the left they canceled their drinks because they finished their dinner and wine was still not served. Behind us people were leaving when the food arrived and they said they waited more than 1h so they didn't want it. And on the right some people canceled the last dish. We soon realised the same was going to happen to us.

We were just 3 people and only ordered 3 main dish and 2 drinks and the waiter managed to get the order wrong and brought one thing which we didn't order (he mixed up pasta of the day with main of the day). We are actually all French native speakers and the waiter was so lost that we actually showed him each item on the menu when ordering. Because of the mix up of our mains we had to wait for food to be done again and therefore 2 of us ate cold food waiting for the 3 person. Obviously our drinks never arrived and obviously we had to go to the bar in order to pay because no one was paying attention. The guys got the bills wrong FOUR times, 4 TIMES, I don't even understand how this is possible. And obviously they again never apologised or offered any compensation. In the US I would have been shocked if they didn't offer dinner. The service was just a big jock. The food is ok though but I won't go anytime soon until they hire people who know how to manage a restaurant and treat...

One member of the team sort of ruined our visit today and it was intentional!

We receded by a nice gentleman but almost immediately an older woman came over to us with menus and demanded that we order, before we could even answer she just walked away.

There were two other people that served us and they were just absolutely sweet with no issues at all.

But when I was leaving coming down the stairs from the same woman saw me on the stairs and actually opened a cabinet door into my face.

Why is this woman working a hospitality if she hates being hospitable to people?

Service was weird. We came in as a group of six.

A waiter sat us near the entrance. Every time new customers came in, they had to walk past us. It was not comfortable at all. The café had lots of empty seats. We could be sat farther inside.

Another waiter who took our orders relied on his memory. Before he got to deliver our orders, another group of customers came in and he accommodated them first. At the end, he got one of our drinks wrong. We six people got only one little cup of olives as a snack for our drinks.
