I rarely leave a review below five stars unless the experience felt disappointing.
I ordered the grilled octopus risotto — while the portion was generous and the dish reasonably priced, the texture of the octopus was one of the worst I’ve had. It ended up being overly chewy on the inside and mushy on the outside. The risotto itself wasn’t particularly enjoyable either; the sauce tasted too meaty for an octopus dish, though this could be a matter of personal preference. Having just enjoyed many excellent octopus dishes in Portugal last week, the contrast was quite noticeable. I arrived hungry, but unfortunately couldn’t finish the dish.
When I asked for dessert options, it took quite a while for the menu to arrive. The selection seemed too basic, especially considering the €16 price point — I was hoping for something more creative and well-executed. As a result, I decided to skip dessert and asked for the bill, but once again it took longer than expected to receive it.

Went in and didn’t see heads or tails of a waitress until we hunted her down, fair, maybe they didn’t see us (right next to the bar though). Again had to hunt down a waitress to order, we sat for a while and it wasn’t any type of busy enough to warrant waiting as we did. Plenty of staff among the area. Food was good. Again had to flag someone down for dessert and bill. They checked in twice like right after we got our food, completely MIA other than that. We clearly moved all dishes and places menus at the edge etc when we were ready and repetitively waved out with no response. He wasn’t at the bar or a regularly running waiter but a man working (typically just standing near the bar doing not much anything) seemed to be nit picking at us and glaring when we tried to get service after sitting quiet for longer than needed. He did our ticket and just seemed judgy especially when we decided to pay in cash (which you’d think would be obvious with it in our hands since we finished)

I'm Italian and when i choose to eat italian out of my country, I'm quite selective. Her our choices: Burrata: the cheese was good, but all the sauces didn't match with it, they covered its taste. Vote 6 Carbonara with truffle: the pasta was perfectly cooked (not like in other Italian restaurant) and the truffle was really smelly. Vote 10 Cotoletta: huge, really enormous!! It was a t-rex cotoletta. Vote 8 Pavlova: not an Italian dish, but it was really good (and huge too). Vote 9
At the end we went to greating with the Chef Alfredo Bellisario and he was really nice even if he was in the middle of his work.
