Laxman is an absolute gem in the heart of the city. From the moment you step through the door, you’re greeted with warm smiles and an inviting ambiance that perfectly sets the stage for an unforgettable dining experience.
The interior is elegant yet cozy, with soft lighting and tasteful décor that makes you feel at home while still giving off a sense of sophistication. The attention to detail in the design extends to every aspect of the restaurant, from the beautifully set tables to the artfully arranged plates of food.
Speaking of food, Each dish is thoughtfully crafted, using fresh, high-quality ingredients that shine through in every bite. The flavors are bold yet balanced, and it’s clear that the chefs here are passionate about their craft.
The service was impeccable. Laxman Dai was knowledgeable, attentive, and genuinely enthusiastic about the menu, offering excellent recommendations without being overbearing. The pacing of the meal was perfect, allowing us to enjoy each course without feeling rushed.
To top it all off, we shared a complementry selection of dessert, which was the perfect end to a flawless meal.
Overall, Laxman exceeded my expectations in every way. It’s the kind of place where you can tell that every detail, from the food to the service to the ambiance, has been carefully considered and expertly executed. Whether you’re looking for a special night out or simply a fantastic nepalese meal in paris, laxman should be at the top of your list. I can’t wait to return and explore more of their incredible menu...
Read moreWe visited this restaurant based on its high ratings compared to others nearby, but our experience was a bit mixed. We were specifically craving Kadhai Paneer, but it wasn’t available on the menu. When we asked the owner, his response — “Sab Kadhai mein hi toh banta hai” — came off a bit rude and made us feel uncomfortable, especially since we were just looking for something specific while hungry.
On the positive side, the restaurant offers Nepalese options, and we really enjoyed the vegetarian steamed momos. We also took away vegetarian chowmein, which was just average. Overall, it was an okay experience — some good moments, but not quite what we were expecting.
And the funny thing he is now saving himself by replying to me that me and my husband were intoxicated. Guys please don’t go this restaurant if you want to save yourself from a real bad experience. This man is self obsessed and will talk bad about other Indian...
Read moreWe had just checked into our hotel and were looking for a decent Indian restaurant for dinner, only with an expectation of plain dal and rice after a 12hr long flight. We picked Laxman based on reviews and boy did the desi food hit different, instantly lifted our spirits!! Ordered masala chai, palak paneer, butter garlic naan, egg chowmein with a spice level of 8. It tasted delicious and they also gave us a pahadi hot sauce to go with the chowmein. we needed that extra hot sauce to beat the 0 degree cold. And just like that we found our everyday go to restaurant for dinners during rest of our stay. Host was very hospitable, welcomed us with a smile. Great service. food was decently priced and they accommodated our special requests. Highly recommend this place for Indian Nepalese comfort food for our desi tourists and everyone else who doesn’t mind having good Indian food bursting...
