The place is compact, but that is not uncommon in Paris where real estate is a luxury. The manager and the servers were good, the kinds who listen to the customer. We ordered Butter Chicken, Agneau (lamb) vindaloo, keema mutter and daal makhni along with 4 tandoori roti and 2 sides of rice. The food with the exception of daal makhni was great. Daal makhni turned out to be not daal makhni. There was clearly a communication gap between us. To top this the daal makhni, which by the way was channa daal, had been adjusted to French taste where the daal is cooked just enough so that it is NOT mushy. I wish we had discussed this prior to ordering, we would have ordered something else. Anyways a lesson for us Indians to remember to ask questions as the expectations for the same cuisine can be different when eating in a non-native land. The first two roti's were just done a bit more than our liking but we brought it up to manager's attention, who initially got defensive, but I must say I was impressed that when we ordered two additional roti's the manager made sure that they were done to our liking. This clearly suggested that he cared for his customer. Overall I think it is a great place and I would return to eat at next opportunity. For 4 adults and 1 kid we paid โฌ50, which I thought was an...

Was here at Eiffel Tower during New Years Eve. Randomly searched for an Indian Hotel near Eiffel Tower and found out this one. Was more than happy when a Goan Restaurant popped up. However, this excitement ended the very moment after stepping into the restaurant. Extremely rude owner, poor professionalism and ill-mannered. When I entered the restaurant, I was like figuring the way out, as to where to ask for the table so whatsoever. Meanwhile, a guy (probably the owner) walked up and said 'Please don't stand here, stand outside'' When asked for a table for 5, a very harsh reaction was given as to who comes in a restaurant with 5 people. ''I can give a place for just 2''. I said that I am fine to wait till the table is available. Another harsh reaction to it was '' Don't wait here, by the time the table is available, the restaurant will be closed and you get nothing to eat''.
On the contrary, the restaurant wasn't full at all. Yes there were people dining, but it was not flooded as the way it is in India on New year Eve. The thing OI noticed that, the owner was least interested to serve me (don't know why. is it because I...
ย ย ย Read moreIf I could give negative reviews. Sir is not there to run a business at all. He is there to showcase his arrogance and attitude, and you pay to see that. We went in to the restaurant, not needing too much to eat but I would have anyways ordered couple of starters and a main dish. Not sure if he was the owner, but boss came and first insulted my ignorance of not understanding his french menu ( midi means lunch ๐now i will never forget, thanks) then he said this is a restaurant and you need to order 3 main dishes, mandatorily. I said I do not feel this hungry, to which he said , cant help it. So he suggested we leave. I still needed something for my son, so I asked for a takeaway. Palak paneer and rice, on which I can share a picture for all to search for paneer in palak paneer . How can someone be this arrogant with no curriliniary skills, not sure. But as I said, he is not there in food business. He is there for you to go, get insulted, eat what he says, how much he says, pay and get the hell out. After all, he has done you such a favor by letting you enter...
