L'Etoile Berbère — Restaurant in Paris

We chose this place randomly but it probably was one of the best decisions on this trip! The Place looks quite unassuming. Looking inside you see some nice decorations which show that really some love went into this. But the Food! The chicken here is so well cooked, you look at it and it melts. Accompanied by the classic Moroccan tea it's just an absolute delight! If you were thinking about eating Moroccan then you absolutely NEED to try this place. The guy serving was also really nice, some good service. 10/10...

Why didn’t I discover this place earlier? Popped in for lunch, the vegetable couscous was amazing, the couscous royale was excellent except for the beef fritter and merguez which were on the dry side for my liking. Otherwise the lamb and chicken were outstanding! Normally I don’t touch lamb fear the gaminess but here it tastes like suckling pig with melt-in-your-mouth tender meat and crispy skin. The reviews are completely accurate. The food is top quality, made with love, and the team working is so nice and honest. The chicken tagine is super flavorful, the chicken is slow cooked and falls off the bone. Same with the lamb couscous. The lamb is slow cooked, tender on the inside, and carmelized and perfectly crusted on the outside.
