L'Italia In Bocca — Restaurant in Paris

I ate here amongst a contingent of 12 for lunch. Service was prompt and food arrived in a timely manner. I wasn't checking my watch but I didn't feel like I was waiting excessively or being rushed to turnover more tables. My only minor nitpick would be getting only 8 menus.

I apologize for not ordering in French but I'd rather order (rudely?) in English than butcher your language or do the whole finger pointing at menu thing. Fortunately, a co-worker translated for me.

I can't speak for anyone else but I ordered the grilled salmon with fries. The salmon was moist with nice flame grilled char. FIRE! So good. And the "frites" were amazing. These aren't potatoes wedges or straight cut fries. These are like thick sliced chips that have magically...

A large crowd of workmates visited here for lunch and we'd had a table reserved so all sat up fine.

I found the service slightly dismissive, as we only had an hour before we got back but the staff seemed to take their time with getting orders in and out. I went for a lasagne, which was hot (the dish was hot) but didn't find it overly flavourful - I'd have preferred more tomatoes, herbs, peppers, etc and perhaps some garnish or veg to make it more of a complete meal than the single item.

Very good restaurant! We were slightly hesitant at first due to only a small number of people eating there, but an absolute gem! Waiter was extremely happy and helpful, made us all chuckle. Food was delicious and arrived very quickly. Best pizza i’ve ever eaten in France. Pesto pasta was also nice and the duck was amazing! Desserts were great too, especially the panna cotta- it was so good. And all for a cheap price! Will definitely be returning next time...
