We happened to be staying nearby and lucked upon this restaurant. When you think of a great Parisian neighborhood restaurant, this is exactly what you get here. The food was fantastic, classic French with a little international influence (I had the cervice).
It's got a great home cooked vibe to it, but elevated to restaurant quality. No fussy presentation, just great flavours. There were some really interesting and bold uses of herbs like rosemary and basil sorbets with the deserts. My wife had the veal "butchers cut" steak which she described as "the best bit of meat I've ever had" and we have eaten some good meat in our time, I promise you.
And then the service. Quite simply this is the best service I have ever had at any restaurant anywhere. The staff really cares about their food, and wine. They really want to make sure you enjoy your meal to the fullest and offered different wines to try before selecting one (there is no wine list, the waiter said "I am the wine list"!). And to top it all off, I left my sunglasses by accident, I got in contact and they posted them back to the UK for me.

Read moreFantastic low key atmosphere with delicious food and wine options. Stumbled upon the gem while at the local boulangerie earlier in the week and made note to go back for dinner and glad I did.
Service was knowledgeable and welcoming. Excellent choice of wines and even allowed a taste before committing.
We enjoyed the traditional French cuisine. Starting with French onion soup and the burrata for appetizers and continuing with the beef and duck confit for mains. I splurged and made room for the crème brûlée for dessert, as it’s too good to pass up...
