I came here specifically because of the great reviews I’ve heard of this place, and that it was one of the places you can’t miss when in Paris. Honestly, it was pretty underwhelming. I got the XL (the medium option) and even then I didn’t think there was quite enough meat in the sandwich. It was just mostly packed with fries. The meat was really tender though but flavour-wise, it was just okay. The sauce was delicious but, like the meat, I felt there wasn’t enough of it in the sandwich. They charge an extra €2.50 for extra sauce which I think is quite ridiculous. The sandwich was jam-packed with fries though, but I guess it’s the least they could do considering I paid €20 for it already.

The experience of the sandwich itself was rather underwhelming. Most of the time I was only tasting bread, and the bread wasn’t that great anyway. I was first in line on the day I went and I only got my sandwich 14 minutes after ordering, so I’d imagine there would be a longer wait if you came at a time when there’s a long line.

Overall I’d say that this place can be skipped, I wouldn’t come down specifically for it. For the price you pay, I think you can get a better experience elsewhere or even pay a bit more for a much...

I had the pleasure of being served by Amal during my recent visit to La Baguette du Relais, and I can confidently say that her service elevated the entire dining experience. Amal was exceptionally welcoming, professional, and attentive without being intrusive. She greeted us with a warm smile and ensured that every detail of our meal was perfect.

Her knowledge of the menu was impressive, providing insightful recommendations that suited our tastes perfectly. Amal managed to balance efficiency with a personal touch, checking in just enough to make us feel cared for without any pressure.

It’s rare to encounter a server who combines such genuine hospitality with remarkable attention to detail. Amal truly made us feel like valued guests, and her cheerful demeanor created a positive and memorable experience. I look forward to returning to La Baguette du Relais and hope to see Amal again. She is undoubtedly an asset to...

I never got the privilege to taste their signature baguette sandwiches (YET), but yesterday after the sudden pouring rain, I wanted a baguette 🥖 and thought they’d sell the bread only. Ah! They didn’t, but the owner (I am assuming she is the owner) gave me—really GAVE me—one of her baguettes to take home. You hear a lot about people when you visit a new country, but this was not on the list of what to expect in France (Paris), and I was overwhelmed! I promised her I will visit her the next day (today), but again the sudden rain just made traveling too difficult (I am staying a bit far away from the place), so couldn’t keep my word. I am hoping I still get to try their food, but thought this review would also shed light on who the people are behind the counter at this restaurant.

Merci beaucoup, really. That bread was really...

A Must-Try on the Go Having heard so much about this iconic sandwich, I was eager to try it for myself. And let me tell you, it exceeded all expectations. The entrecôte sandwich is a true masterpiece. The famous secret sauce that soaks every inch of the freshly baked bread, serves as the ideal foundation for the sandwich. The meat was very tender, succulent, and bursting with flavor. The classical portion has one layer of meat, but if you're a true meat lover, I highly recommend going for the XXL version. With double the meat quantity, it provides an even more intense and gratifying meat taste. Overall, my experience at La Baguette du Relais lived up to its reputation. If you find yourself in the area, don't miss the opportunity to indulge in this culinary masterpiece. You won't be disappointed
