The experience at this restaurant was a bit of a mixed bag. While the food itself was well cooked and nicely presented, several details left us disappointed.
First, the prices listed on the official website were noticeably lower than the actual prices at the restaurant. This was frustrating and felt a bit misleading. On top of that, we were hoping to try the menu du jour, but were told it wasn’t available — with no alternatives suggested. Unfortunately, we only found this out after we had already ordered drinks.
Another issue was with the water. We asked for a carafe d’eau (as is common in France), but were brought — and charged for — a bottle of still water instead. It’s hard not to feel like this happened because we were tourists.
As for the food, everything was cooked well and looked great, but in our opinion, every dish was missing a bit of salt. Of course, that’s a personal taste thing, but it was consistent across all plates.
Overall, this could have been a really good experience. With a more up-to-date website, a quick heads-up about unavailable items, and more honest service around things like water, it would have made a...
