La Favorite — Restaurant in Paris

We are visiting Paris and hotel recommended this place. We walked in and no one acknowledged. There were two guys behind the bar and one guy walking around. I finally asked the guy behind the bar if we should sit ourselves and he said “yeah yeah”. We another 10-12 minutes when I asked for menus. They brought us menus and maybe another 8 minutes before our order was taken. Food did come quick my wife had ordered a smoke salmon salad and I ordered a steak. Food was ok nothing special. La Favorite was a fabulous experience when we went to Paris. We went there all three nights. We were blessed with a fabulous waiter on the first night who kindly offered to wait us the other two nights too. His name was Maheni.
