This small, romantic, botique hotel in the area of Passy in Paris is highly recomendable. It is close the shopping street in Passy with a lot of shopping, eat and drink options. Paris is big and to explore the whole city takes a lifetime. Still, I’m greatfull discovering this area as I have not heard that much about it before we went. Now, having been there- I understand that this is really a great area of Paris. The best with the hotel is if you are lucky to have a suite in fifth or sixth floor- you will have the view to the Eiffel tower. It was so charming! The room was spacious, the bed was really for kings and qeens, knowing our room was called Versaille. The staff was simply so lovely, and any misunderstanding was easily sorted out. The metro stop Passy is 3-4minutes walk and brought us to all other places in Paris. We had as a evening ritual to take the metro to Trocadero to watch the Eiffel tower sparkle and then walked 8-10minutes through the nice streets of Passy back to the hotel. Keep in mind that Eiffel tower is a bit outside from all other attractions in Paris, so staying close to this means as well spending some time in various metro options. But hey, it is a charm in...

Pleasantly surprised that the room was fine, with desk and chair, and lovely marble fireplace. Small bathroom but adequate.|Positives:| Staff were very welcoming and friendly| Hotel was styled very nicely | It was clean - | Breakfast was not a huge choice but very good| I had a problem connecting my laptop to internet.....morning staff placed a call to their provider, who (using my IP address) circumvented the login procedure. After that wifi excellent and fast.|Negatives:|1) Not a great problem, but some of the mastic where wall meets shower screen and around pipework could do with better finishing.|2) I asked whether I could check out at 1pm instead of 12:00 as my appointment locally was not until 14:15. I was advised I could BUT it would be €30 extra!!! Did not pay that for one hour.|3) I heard some guests ask if they could leave their luggage there until later. The answer was yes...BUT it was a charge of €7+ I think that is penny-pinching. ||I always judge a place by the question "would I stay". The...
Yes, the rooms are small and the bathroom is even smaller, but it is to be expected in old colonial buildings. The elevator is tiny. You will need multiple trips to send your luggage up, we figured out a way so that we did not have to be in the elevator. We just put all the luggage in and sent it up and then went up and received it.
AC was not working after the first day, but we opened the window when it got hot. Water pressure in the bathroom was good and the temperature was adjustable. You will need to bring hair conditioner only, but I didn’t ask the front desk, perhaps they would’ve provided. The rooms were clean. I thought it was very charming, breakfast was yummy, healthy and the hostess was kind and polite.
The staff went above and beyond to be helpful, nice and accommodating, and that made up for everything and made our stay extremely pleasant. In fact, we were so sad leaving. The location is amazing. There are a lot of good shops, restaurants and a quick 15 to 20 minute walk to Eiffel Tower. My daughter and I had...
