I tend to get verbose so in order to give those of you looking for a short and sweet review, I will begin with this: I cannot recommend this hotel enough! The staff is great, the location is beautiful and convenient, and the rooms are quiet and comfy. Now, I'll allow myself to list all the perks down to the last detail, because this hotel deserves it!
Rooms: Three of us stayed in the Deluxe Triple room. The room itself was lovely and suited our needs well. The beds were comfortable, everything was clean and welcoming, and they gave us a beautiful view! Our room was across the hall from the elevator and next to the stairs, but we never noticed sound from either inside the room. Our windows overlooked the busy street (which we really enjoyed people-watching from), but with the windows closed and curtains drawn it was pleasantly surprising how much the street noise was quieted. This all being said, this is an old building, and while I personally knew what to expect and had no issues, i could see how some people might be caught unawares, so a few warnings to others: the bathrooms are narrow and the elevator is quite small, so dont expect to fit a whole family into either at one time. The rooms themselves are comfortable but compact, they are rooms to relax and sleep in between exploring excursions, not rooms you'd host large gatherings in. Again, wasn't a problem for me, but just a heads-up.
Location: The location of this hotel is STUNNING. It is situated on the rue de Passy, which is home to all sorts of markets, food stops, and boutique shops, as well as a lovely view of the Eiffel tower peeking up over the tops of the neighborhood buildings. A wonderful full view of the tower is just a short walk away on the Pont du Bir-Hakeim (a walk during which you pass an easily accessible metro station). Continue down that same bridge and you will reach the Champs de Mars RER station which can take you directly to Versailles. The hotel itself is surrounded by infinite methods of travel to any tourist destination, there are several nearby metro stations, bus stops, and even a taxi stop at the nearest intersection which has no shortage of taxis throughout the day. We used taxis for most of our sightseeing so we could take plenty of time gawking out windows, and nothing seemed inconviniently far. Shopping and food-wise, there's plenty to do here. Immediately outside the hotel there are several grocers, pharmacies, atm, and perhaps most importantly the Desgranges bakery which has phenomenal lunch items and pastries. About a 15 minute walk west takes you past several shops, including la Grand Epicerie for any grocery needs you could possibly have, and the restaurant Pop's which had some of the most delicious food of our stay.
Service: Christine welcomed us so warmly upon our arrival that we instantly knew we were in good hands! She was an absolute joy and was so thoughtful and helpful during our entire stay. If you are english speaking, do not be daunted. The ENTIRE staff took such good care of us and were so kind and patient with our extremely limited abilities in speaking French. I can not speak highly enough about every single person who took care of us during our stay, I appreciate them all so much!

Read moreMy family and I stayed here for our week-long trip to Paris. We got two rooms: one for my parents on the first floor - for accessibility; and one for my sister and I on the second floor. Hotel Passy Eiffel absolutely exceeded our expectations - rooms were clean, gorgeous, private, quiet, and everything matched - walls, curtains, carpet, beds, pillows, closet, desk, chairs. Our room had an awesome large window looking out into the garden and to bring in some fresh air too!||||This hotel served as a great home base while we explored the city and surrounding areas during the day. The front desk staff was exceptional - spoke French and English, and so very friendly - for example, when my parents did a day trip to Normandy and my sister and I went to Versailles on the same day, they asked after our parents when we returned - they truly cared and wanted to ensure things were going smoothly for us. Upon request, they also arranged a taxi to pick us up to take us to the airport the morning we were leaving - this was very helpful as my father has reduced mobility, so we didn't have to walk to a taxi stand and hail one ourselves.||||The garden and sun room were gorgeous places to eat lunch we had picked up elsewhere. We had the breakfast twice, 17 Euros/person, and worth the money: the coffee, eggs, toast, croissants and other pastries, cheese, meats, bread, juice, yogurts, jam - it was all PERFECT. I have literally no bad things to say about this hotel! Very close to the Eiffel Tower, approximately a 15 minute walk, and in a neighborhood with great shops, food, convenient grocery stores, mall, and lots of actual Parisians (i.e., not overloaded with tourists, which we found to be the case elsewhere in Paris). Thank you for an unforgettable stay! Highly...
Read moreThe room was small however adequate for our needs. It was a pretty mundane stay until the end check out where the check out receptionist Ana was so unhelpful and rude it really left a bad taste in our mouths after a great trip to Paris. First we asked her for an itemised bill. No the printer was broken. Okay fine please could you email it to us. Followed by a look which suggested we had asked her for her first born child followed by a weary sign. The we asked her to book us a taxi to the train station- pretty simple request you would have thought. She started off immediately by making excuses that it was difficult to get a taxi as it was raining. Funnily enough it did not seem difficult for a couple who were also waiting for a taxi in the reception area, who left after 5 mins.
After 20 mins of waiting we asked Ana to call the cab company again. While speaking to us about this she started to serve another customer who had walked in, not at all caring that we were still waiting for her to call again. While Ana was supposedly on the phone to the taxi company we were attempting to get an Uber driver - there was some problem connecting on the app. Ana kept telling us to 'just book an Uber' despite us letting her know we could not get connected. She seemed totally disinterested in doing her job and actively being obstructive. She could not tell us what the taxi company had said to her despite her holding a phone apparently talking to them. What a poor representation...
