What a delightful discovery, we just entered here on a whim . The owner was so kind and courteous. Had some of the best food in our Paris trip here. It says it's a bistro but the food is presented so well like fine dining. A lot of locals were eating here when we went for lunch. Had the formule menu for starter+ main , which was a lot of food but delicious. My butternut squash soup was so light and frothy with chestnuts , I never had butternut squash soup like this before. The beef stew was excellent, also tasted my husband's beef tartare which was so good! I could not make space for dessert because I was full. But I will be back when I am in Paris next.

Very nice place, to stop and have lunch while walking around the 16ème arrondissement. They are a member of the Collège Culinaire de France 2022, so one expects the quality of service and food to be top notch, and indeed they were. Only one small mistake, when ordering wine at the glass, they should have shown the bottle and poured the wine at the table, instead of bringing two glasses from behind the counter. Apart from that, the staff was professional and the food pleasant. Greatly recommend!

Had lunch with friends on a cold winter Sunday and had a lovely time at Le Bistrot des vignes. The menu is changed frequently depending on what’s available at the market. I had an “perfectly cooked egg” as a starter plus “La pièce du boucher” i.e. rumsteack as a main. The meat was cooked exactly as I like it (medium). For dessert I indulged in the lava cake made with a famous chocolate brand.

Everything was excellent. I cannot imagine someone being disappointed dining here. I may not travel from the other side of Paris to dine here, but if you are within a few subway stops, or a short cab ride (like the Eiffel Tower area), definitely check it out. I was completely satisfied when I left.

Plus, right down the street, where it is pedestrian oriented, there are awesome shops. The cheese store has everything imaginable and they will vacuum seal it so you can travel with it. The meat shop and vegetable/fruit shop are amazing. The bread from the bakery on the corner of Rue Lekain and Rue de l'Annonciation is the best bread I have ever...

I have had some great meals here in the past (years ago), but my experience today was not so good. We were a party of 6 -- probably the biggest in the restaurant at that time. Yet our order was "lost" -- as was the half-hour that passed between placing it and being informed of the problem. Our waiter forgot who ordered which desserts, and the noisette (macchiato) I ordered was colder than room temperature. It is a shame, and hopefully just an aberration. This used to be a consistently great bistro. On the plus side, the main courses were all quite good -- at least that...
