Le Comptoir du Pérou — Restaurant in Paris

A true gem of Peruvian cuisine in Paris !! The food is delicious and tastes like if you were in Perú!! The chefs are peruvians!!

We were lucky to have a table for lunch, we booked same day through the fork! I suggest to get a reservation because the restaurant gest full very quickly:p

About food😍 we ordered for starters causa de atún ( my favorite) and causa 🥑 de camarones that we loved! Then, of course we asked for the classic ceviche and ceviche nikei (a mixed of peruvian and japanese ingredients) that was a m a z i n g! To drink we got chicha morada and traditional pisco sour of maracuyá! Overall, we really loved our experience in le comptoir du Pérou, friendly service, delicious food and drinks! This was the first time I went to Le Comptoir du Perou wt an Argentine friend. As I walked in, I was told by Cristian the waiter that today only the menu was available. There was no heating in the restaurant & my hand & feet were frozen. The starter of the mushroom soup was hardly warm, the ceviche main dish was very basic. We were then told that there was no dessert today - & nothing to replace it with. The final bad news was that after we ordered our coffee, was told 10mts later, that the coffee machine was not working! An utter disaster! I will not be going...

Absolutely less than average. I am giving 3 stars because the waiter was kind. But this place is a 2.5 stars at best. Salad reminded me of school food. Ceviche was just average. "Cafe gourmand" with assortment of 3 pastries- the first time in my life that I regret not having coffee only. Location is nice, design is fine but atmosphere is noisy.
