The impression that wells immediate upon our entrance was that this was not your typical Parisian restaurant. It’s walls are lined with various bottles of wine: to fulfill whatever suits your needs of the day and with the food that this fabulous place provides. Greeting the server, we felt very much at home with asking for whatever we wanted. We asked for a window view. The view was somewhat hindered by the bottles of wine, but we got what we asked for. Asking about the days menu was fun. He did his very best to translate to English. We decided on the foie gras follows up with the veal for me and the duck for her. Ok....so the veal was soooo delicious, that I devoured it in moments! The sauce was perfect for the suppleness of the meat. Maggie let me try part of her duck leg.
