Le Chardonnay — Restaurant in Paris

The atmosphere was cozy, and the service was excellent. Our waitress was incredibly kind, friendly, and—surprisingly—spoke perfect Italian, which made everything even more enjoyable. The food was delicious, and we truly enjoyed every dish. The only small issue was with the escargots: we ordered six, but two of them arrived empty. It wasn’t a big deal, but to ensure a flawless escargot experience, it would have been nice if the restaurant had brought us two extra ones to make up for it.

Overall, great food, good service, and a charming spot to enjoy a Parisian meal....

I ordered chicken, but it was raw. We told the waiter and he offered to cook it but we didn't have time to wait for it to be cooked. The waiter didn't say sorry and acted like it’s a normal situation, which it wasn’t. Eating raw chicken is dangerous, unlike beef. And then, when we paid (for raw chicken also), the machine asked for tips though I understand it’s probably preset in the machine. But a seriously this got me even more upset? Le chardonnay is the bistrot version of Au cru de Bourgogne next door—the same quality of delicious food- different menu. You have the choice.
