Le Maxan — Restaurant in Paris

This was our first dining experience in Paris and all we can say is wow! Everything we had was superb and the prices are excellent for what you get. We had the cheese platter, sirloin, veal and pavlova for dessert. There is also a fantastic selection of wine to choose from. I'm not kidding you when I say this is one of the best meals we've ever had. Not to mention the staff were very accommodating of English once they heard me struggle through attempting to communicate in French. Just note you will likely want to make a reservation if possible as this is a small place. Only negative is that we would like to come more often but we're on a different continent....

Honestly if u North American food will be taste very plain for us i didn’t like anything and special menu of the day tuna fish was just so dry. Steak was okay nothing compared American with all good review I disappointed I don’t like nothing even salmon tartare was taste mayonnaise not good I don’t know maybe they pay for reviews but it not best and all mans workers except are server was staring at my friend wrong way very impolite they staring so much make us uncomfortable place is so small for price we pay could be better specially when they called themself French restaurant portions small drinks expensive. This was a phenomenal experience. Wait time between dishes was around 10mins. Super nice and friendly staff. My family came with a younger brother and they fixed up a custom dish for him. The food was amazing in general. I had the beef cheeks which were super tasty. The appetizer brioche was spectacular as well, super well balanced. We also did order 4 orders of scallops and they were super consistent and super tasty.

The menu is super affordable and you can have any starter, any main and any dessert for only 40€. The quality is amazing at that price and again thank you so much for having us!!!
