Unfortunately, my experience was not good at all. In general: very bad communication, customer service isn't local and it's hard to make something clear and get something done. It al started with a bad payment link (only valid for 30 mins??) and charging the wrong amount (too little), after several calls to the bad CS mentioned earlier, they send a new payment link with the charge being too high. It took my colleague several days to sort this mess out. My main issue was however the shower stall in my room. The door was tiny (no more 35cm) and I simply couldn't get in. So if you carry that little bit of extra weight, are pregnant, or are rocking that dad bod, don't bother. You won't be able to take a shower. CS was contacted again, and they refused to provide me with another room (while hotels are mandatory to have rooms available for disabilities for example). After a full day of back and forth calls, they finally offered a room, 30 mins by metro away. This was not a great option in regards to my work and the reason I was even in Paris. Eventually we were able to get room in another hotel (which was way better btw), and I was able to take a shower after 2 days. For those wondering: 35cm does not meet building regulations. For me this was a very embarrassing situation to be in, and I do not want anyone else experiencing anything similar to this. If you have doubts, please just book another room. This place is not worth the hassle. O before I forget, they did try to make things better and gave me box of chocolates... which had a hair on...
Read moreThis was by far the worst place I've stayed in Paris. I should have known better when |we were not provided information on how to get into the building. When I called the number on the original email, they informed me that they send an email to Expedia (which I did not book through) and had to have them send me a new email with information to get into the hotel. When we got to the room, we turned the shower on and there was no hot water. We had the water running for at least 20 minutes and there was still no hot water. In addition to the lack of hot water, the water in the shower started leaked all over the bathroom floor soaking the towels. We contacted the hotel and got no response until the next day. ||In addition to the lack of hot water and leaking shower, the room was disgusting. The bed has multiple different kinds of hairs all over it and a large stain on one of the sides. There was something sticky on the floor, the bathroom accessories were dirty, the toilet seat didn’t match the toilet, and there was hair in the shower and on the washcloth in the bathroom. ||When the hotel finally responded to our complaints the next day, they switched to an automated response and did not address any of our concerns. Because of the condition of the room, we had to book another hotel in the area last minute. overall the worst place I've stayed in Paris with the worst customer service. Do NOT...
Read moreTwo Bedroom Unit: my rating of two stars is solely for the two bedroom unit that I stayed in for two nights. Basically it looks to be a studio apartment that they shoehorned in a small bedroom. Voilà it became a two bedroom. The bedroom is tiny and the curtains don’t cover the windows so light from the other room invaded the tiny room. Being from America, I don’t know if it’s usual for French bedrooms to have windows looking in on another bedroom. Even though it was April and the weather was low 50s at night the bedroom became hot when the door was closed. My recommendation is to not rent a two bedroom unit in this place. The location of the place is fantastic and safe. The building has a small elevator but it beats taking the stairs with luggage. Like others have stated expect the bathroom floor to get soaked when taking a shower as the small drain doesn’t get rid of water fast enough. I would stay here again but only in a one...
