Warning “A BULLET from your food and impolite waitress”

I am writing this review with considerable disappointment, especially as my first visit to this restaurant last week was pleasant that I decided to return. Unfortunately, my experience tonight was deeply troubling and frankly, unacceptable.

I ordered the "Wild Hunting Duck," which was listed on the menu without any additional warning. While eating, I bit down on something incredibly hard: a piece of lead shot from a shotgun BULLET. The shock and the potential danger of breaking a tooth or worse is something no diner should have to experience.

What truly ruined the evening, however, was the shockingly unprofessional and dismissive attitude of the waitress. When I discreetly and politely brought the LEAD BULLET to her attention, her response was not one of concern or apology. Instead, she claimed this was perfectly normal for a wild duck dish in France, implying that as a foreigner, I was simply ignorant. No prior warning about this potential hazard was given when I ordered, which is a serious oversight in customer safety.

The humiliation did not stop there. A few moments later, when the Israeli diners at the adjacent table asked for their bill, the same waitress turned to them and joked, "You didn't find a bullet in yours, did you?" while looking in my direction. To be openly mocked after raising a legitimate safety concern is beyond unprofessional; it is insulting and deeply disrespectful.

To their credit, they did remove the cost of the duck dish from our bill. However, the gesture felt hollow as my dinner was effectively ruined. I stopped eating my meal out of concern and appetite loss, meaning I left the restaurant without having had a proper dinner. We ended up paying €125 for the rest of our order and had to carry out our unfinished bottle of wine.

A restaurant's responsibility extends beyond the food it serves; it includes ensuring a safe dining environment and treating customers with basic dignity. While finding a pellet in a game dish might be a possibility, the complete lack of a warning and the subsequent contempt and ridicule from the staff are inexcusable.

After a quite good first impression last week, I am now left with a very bitter taste. I cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone, particularly tourists who may be subjected to the same dangerous food and...

One of the best meals I've had. My partner took me for my birthday hoping for a wonderful meal and champagne. It was a hit and he keeps talking about the food and the service and the hardworking people behind the scenes. We had reservations and showed up about ten minutes early, the place was packed and they did have a table yet, but kindly offered two seats at the bar. Now let's talk about it, by sitting at the bar you are almost in the kitchen and don't have the distraction of the other dinners and such. Definitely in our element and watch as the chef orcistrated prepared and plated almost every dish that left his line. That was when we noticed Julie, the unsung hero in the wings. She was back leading the dance like Ginger Rodgers in heals! One day she will be the chef at some restaurant and I will travel across the world to seek out her creations. The hostess/front of the house manager was on her game and devoted her attention to those that needed a little bit of hand holding. Even managed to get a copy of the menu in English for some young chaps. We will come back here on our next...

I feel like concept of this restaurant is like modern french style. It’s based on french food but some of the food they infused Vietnamese style. I tried salad, blanqueete de beau and strawberry dessert. Salad was fresh and it was very interesting dressing. I can feel Vietnamese style which is combined with citrus, sweetness and herb taste. Proper amount of dressing for salad. Perfect appetizer for me. Then I had blanqueete of veal. To be honest I’m not get used to this type of sauce but the texture of meat was melting. I definitely tell they cooked long time for the meat. All the ingredients are fresh too. It comes with potatoes and even these are good too. My favorite was their dessert. I highly recommend to try any desserts from here. Mine was strawberry short cake. Between the bread dough there are vanilla ice cream and dissolved strawberries. Dough was soft and crispy. It’s just so good. I was quite full but I had to finish the dessert. Server was nice and quick. At the bar seat I can see how they cook. It was nice to have...

Having finished both challenges (all the Parisian stars under 365 days and all the 3 stars in France : follow me for all the reviews and updates) I’m now redoing most of them and testing some more Michelin. I went to this one by chance, simply because I arrived way too late for the Michelin Star in front , and they were kind enough to accept me for a late lunch. What’s interesting here? I thought that I would appreciate more the meat (the chef is a country guy who loves his game and it was the beginning of the season) but surprisingly I loved his take on the sea. Especially with the usage of citrus not for acidity but for the fruit flavor. It’s not very common and very pleasing. The service is very nice, the staffing is normal for a standard Michelin. The nice touch is that the chef is active in the dining room, so you get to see and meet him. The crowd was chilled. Family on holidays, friends and I guess people from the surrounding (or working in the surrounding ). A solid Michelin
